Finally my custom engraved White 16GB iPad 2 is set to arrive on Friday, March 18th :D and supposed to get the smart cover today in mail.
 
I just checked FedEx thru the Yahoo link someone posted... MUCH more information ....fedEx.com info just stopped at HK.

as of 7:40am my ipad is in Greenville fedex centre, and my ipad is being delivered to an ebay seller in Greenville! rekon they will deliver today or tommorow ?
 
It says I can pick it up now, guess I am leaving for work early.

I think the 64s being late is probably because they oversold them. basic marketing says people won't be as likely to buy the products at the higher and lower end, so Apple probably stocked them in order of 32, 16 then 64. Not sure where the 3G models fit in, but I am guessing they are less popular then the wifi.

FedEx decided it should camp out in Alaska for the night. I'm pretty sure that shoots down any possibility of getting it a day early for me. :-/ Still showing delivery by 4:30p on 3/17.

Same exact config ordered here at 1:24am PST... Looks like this model is not even shipping at this point...

Well, this is not cool.

Smart Cover shipping info was sent on Mar 13, estimated delivery of March 17, only to change to March 22 today.

It just shipped out of Lantau Island. iPad is coming on Thursday too, so that means no Smart Cover until next week?! :(

Mine is being held too. I guess fedex is holding the packages in order to make the expected 17th delivery date. Same thing happened with my cover being held in PA until yesterday to make todays expected delivery date.
 
Im glad to see I'm not the only one refreshing the apple page. I ordered it at 1:06pst , 4:06 am where I was, and am in the 3-5 days shipment. My ipad cover is said to arrive today, but nothing about my white 16gb ipad 2 :(. Status is still "not yet shipped". Was really hoping to receive it before I left on vacation on monday. Sigh!
 
More bad news

Not only does it still say "not yet shipped", the money has been credited back to my account as the hold was lifted. But theres no mention of the order being cancelled on the status page.

Mother effer!! what is going on?!

Woohoo. At least I can play with my new smart cover while yanking my hair out waiting for the damn ipad to get here :(. I was going to make the line but it was nuts. One guy paid a girl $900 to give up her place in line so that he can be one of the first :eek: . Definitely sounds like a good investment. Ill have to do that when the ipad 3 comes out lol

Did you recently move or anything? I had an issue with another company a few days before I ordered the ipad because I had recently moved into my new home and my cc address was not yet changed. Thankfully i fixed it before Mar 11 :cool:
