So you don't think that I don't have the yellow band, or that I'm cherry-picking screens that don't show it, here's a pic that actually shows the slightly yellowing at the top in Safari. When you look at this screen, do you concentrate on the threads, or are you unable to use and consume the content because you are looking at the yellow band at the top?

Got it. Are you unable to focus on using Safari, reading news, adjusting your settings, looking up a contact, making a phone call, or answering a text because you are so unhappy with a yellow band across the the top of the screen?

Here's my Settings screen.....I see settings to be adjusted. What do you see?

I have that yellow band at the top on my iPhone 6. None in my 7 Plus. Its common for LCDs to have these flaws. My advice is to forget about it and start using it as normal. I remember when I got my 6 and I used to go crazy about that yellow band and turn my phone upside down to see if it had it and no amount of replacements sorted the issue.

Learn to live with it unfortunately
Probably might just consider grabbing a 6S, still thinking about.

My good screen gold 64gig with some warmth at the top has no vertical lines or yellow band was bought in July last year and an F17 fwiw

I think it was a may or June build too lazy to look it up honestly
Even the 7's have them now, pretty sad, probably gonna sell the SE and possibly grab a 6S. I could live with it but its not worth it.

Thanks! I have truly enjoyed my SE....it's the best cell phone I've ever had, iPhones and Androids included. It's sad that you and others are distracted by something like this....perhaps you should consider another brand of cell phone?? Otherwise you are stuck in a cycle of buying and returning phones, hoping for "a good one," always unhappy, before eventually settling for less than what makes you happy. Android offers a number of screen control apps that allow you to set the temperature just the way you like it.
If you are not distracted with such a great screen defect, well good for you... but maybe you should visit some eye care professional;)

Oh, I can see it if I bothered to look at it, rather than whatever information the screen is trying to give me.

When I'm looking up a phone number, I see the phone number, not any yellowing at the top the screen. Same is true for calls, emails, texts, games, and the occasional website. And I spend not one second of my valuable time staring at perfectly-white screens, and comparing them to other perfectly-white screens on other cell phones, then returning said cell phone and repeating the whole process, time and time again, all the while stressing over some yellow at the top of the screen if and when it's white.

Perhaps you and the people that can't focus on anything else other than the slight yellowing you should get some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.....you can retrain your mind to not focus on irrelevant information, and I promise you would be infinitely happier with your consumer electronic devices....;)

Yeah sure, all of us who are not satisfied with faulty products should undergo therapy:))) i got it, after visiting eye clinic, go meet some psychiatrist:) enjoy your faulty screen and have a nice day...

I picked up an SE as a second/backup phone just recently as my carrier put last year's model (i.e. the 16 GB & 64 GB versions) on sale for a killer price. The first thing that I noticed is that the display is much warmer than the one on my 6s (not a strip though, it's the entire screen), but I think that is just how Apple is calibrating the screens now as I heard that a lot about the 7 as well...

Can you also make a promise that you can stop exhibiting sheer ignorance to something that exists? Or...perhaps you can stop telling others not to focus on an issue that IS relevant when in comparison to an iPhone SE that doesn't have a yellow display. Apple themselves has acknowledged others I know that Experienced this issue and the device has been replaced without question after the fact.

Either way, Some would be infinitely happier if you actually understood the concern with an issue that shouldn't exist in the first place.

I do agree that the iPhone 7 has been More of a warmer tone with yellowish or neutral light tones. And I think iPhone users are not used to having warmer tones on their iPhone as Apple is known to use that blue/white stark display on past iPhone models.

I purchased an SE via Boost Mobile's web site last week. Screen is flawless, no signs of yellow anywhere.

Latest issue I noticed is that the SE I own is quite dim compared to the ones they have on display. Both are running at full brightness.

No they are not both running at full brightness. One phone is in power saving mode - and even at full brightness - it's reduced to conserve power. You posted this same photo in another thread recently saying the exact same thing that isn't true.

I bought a 64 GB in May. It has a warmer color than my previous 7 plus, but I wouldn't say it's yellow. Just warm. The new screens on the Macbooks and iPhones seemed to be calibrated more on the blue side. I wish apple would just let use change the white balance of the screen. But Apple giving us options is rare.

i'm return my phone to Apple and try buy other one same phone. On second new iphone se 32 Gb in market i found same yellow line on top of the screen. I not buy this phone with that defect of screen. I'm shocked by this quality from Apple:( May be Donald Trump will contribute to the return of the famous American quality...:)
