Recieved my new Apple Watch Edition yesterday

Also his first response to me wasn't even a response to what I actually said and was just about him and how his whole family have one too and to tell me to go read his posts in other threads about his whole family owning one, kids and all....again that just shows he is bragging.

If he is a watch collector, I'm wondering if the Apple Watch is something that he'll continue to wear even for special occasions, etc. I certainly miss my old watch from time to time (some old Skagen number) but I never wear it knowing I'll miss out on the convenience of Apple Watch.

I've certainly decreased wearing my other watches and plan to buy no new watches for a while since buying the Apple Watch, but when I do wear the other watches, I wear the Apple Watch on the right face down.
 
Well Kudos to you and your family for having so much money people have been enjoying the Apple Watch since April. I personally don't care that you now have an edition. Thanks for the post anyhow

Yep, my Swiss mechanical watches aren't being worn at all. In fact, I just decided to sell a Rolex and use the proceeds to surprise my wife with a trip to Hawaii.

Sure, but it's basically like telling someone that their gold ring does the same thing as a steel ring. My personal preference for any watch is steel, but it's important to realize that, while some people see watches as either strictly functional tools or strictly beautiful jewelry, but most of us fall somewhere in the middle.
 
Congrats on your purchases. I surely admire you having so much disposable income and I wish I can be like you one day.

Personally, being unable to afford multiple gold watches, I do enjoy my stainless steel watches, esp. the Rolex Submariner, but it's been largely ignored now since I wear my SS Apple Watch every day......

Awesome beautiful! I have the Gold Sports Watch and sometimes in the back of my mind I keep saying to myself how awesome it would be if it was the Edition version. I've been waiting for someone to post one like yours. If i can afford it, I would buy one in a heartbeat. (Ditto with the latest Corvette!) I'm a retiree too and enjoying my senior lifestyle in Maui but an Apple Watch Edition is still above my paygrade literally.

You don't have to answer those haters here. They will never admit they cannot afford that version. My brother has a $12000+ Rolex and it is huge and ugly but loves it and told me he would never buy the Apple Watch Edition. Hahaha

Funny how nobody chided members with the new gold or rose gold aluminum models for starting dedicated threads on these Sport models such as this one instead of adding to the "Show off your Apple Watch" thread.
