Has anyone experienced touch sensitivity issues? I ordered iCarez 3pk and noticed lots of issues. Then bought a $50 otter box one at target, still have issues but not as bad.. when zero screen protector is on screen
Works 100% of the time. It’s very hard to trigger camera from lock screen with a protector on.

I currently have the Belkin one on from Apple and I got to say it’s awful for the price.

No where near the edge of the phone, has a notch cut out, it’s a finger print magnet, and lint just build up where the screen edges are exposed.

I have a 3 pack of ESR’s coming in the post, have always used ESR and could kick myself for going with the Belkin one, complete waste of money IMO.

I was going to do that but decided to go with FloLab’s per MobileReviewsEh’s recommendation. It’s less than half the price and his strongest recommendation for a edge to edge (3D) tempered glass protector. We’ll see how long it lasts.
MobileRevkewsEh's is the reason I got the Shellrus screen protector for my previous device haha. And FloLab is an excellent choice. It was the previous screen protector I had on my 11 Pro and during the duration, I had it on it never broke, scratched or lost it oleophobic slick feel so it's an excellent buy. And for the price, I had to pay for the Shellrus (I did use the 10% discount code MRE provided) I could've purchased 3 FloLab and probably been set for the whole device lifespan.

This. I had both the Belkin and Spigen on my 12 pro and compared the two. I found Spigen much better fitting so that’s the one I went with.

That’s exactly why I went FloLab. I already spent $1400 plus $60 on the leather case. I wasn’t about to pour another $80 on a screen protector.

Just an update on the FloLab NanoArmour Anti-Microbial screen protector.

It's crystal clear and you can't tell it's on the device at all. The only possibly noticeable tell would be that the earpiece is twice as deep and you'd have to see a naked 12 or you'd never notice it. The sides are smooth not sharp like cheap protectors and the cover going over the notch doesn't seem to inhibit FaceID. An added benefit is that with the Apple leather case on it raises the glass so swiping is a bit easier. I've had it on my 12 Pro Max for a few days now and there is not one scratch. It's been in and out of my pocket for 10+ hours a day at work in addition to time at home. It ships from China, but even during this pandemic they had it to me in 5 days. That's a lot better than many other companies at this point.

Overall, it's the first screen protector I think is worth using, I normally can't stand them. $24.99 for a great quality protector is, frankly, a no brainer on a $1100+ device.

Did you try using FaceID prior to putting on the screen protector or at least used it with a protector with a notch cutout?
Could you please explain what you mean by "it raises the glass?" Initially I read that to mean that the case lifts the protector off the display, but on second thought do you mean that the "display" is now at a higher level and so it's closer to the edge of the case? Lastly, I've been wondering about the black borders on these types of screen protectors. Sometimes when things are artificially black, they stick out more since it's a darker black than it would be otherwise. This isn't the case here?

I had, and used, the phone for 2 days before the protector arrived. FaceID works the same with it off and with it on. I never used it with a protector with notch cut outs as I loath them. If I can see it I may as well not have it on.

Yes, the display is at a higher level so the bordering case doesn’t have as much of a lip.

The black is inky black like the display. It’s blends right in and can’t be seen unless in direct sunlight. You’ll never notice it in normal use. The protector comes with a frame so alignment isn’t an issue. It also comes with a full screen dust sticker, smaller ones for spot cleaning, an alcohol wipe, and microfiber cloth.

Beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed post!

I installed the Spigen Glas.TR ezFit with sensor protection and I’m loving it. The coverage is great, there is no black border around the edges and it covers the notch perfectly.

Thank you for this! I ordered a Flolab protector for my 12 PM that should hopefully be here any day (currently stuck due to customs issues 😩) and now I am really glad I decided to bite the bullet and go with flolab over some cheap ones on Amazon.

I bought this one and installed it on my 12PM. Super easy to install and comes with a guide and wipes. I really like the feel of it.

They're made out of the same tempered glass, sold to different companies and sold at different prices. They are 9 h hardness which many companies make and cheaper. Here is a link a 3 pack for $8.99

I bought the OUBA. They must be iPhone 11 protectors repackaged as for the 12 series, because I bought the ones for the 12 Pro Max and not only were they too small, the dimensions of the notch wasn't correct either. Returning them when I get a chance.

I've decided that since I have AppleCare+, a screen replacement only costs me $29 and my time, so I guess I'll go without. By the time my AppleCare+ runs out in two years, the ones being sold for $50+ now will be dirt cheap by then.

The one I bought fits perfectly. I dont think they would be able to use a 11 pro max on a 12 pro max. One has a flat screen and one is curved. I can't stand micro scratches and they happen fast so I will always use a screen protector. I also think some are smaller so they will fit in some cases.
