Well, that's a shame. Everyone who supported Alien Blue received 4 years of free Reddit Gold.Really liking the new app. I was never a fan of alien blue, so just stuck to the real site. This, at least to me, seems like a very usable app.
So I guess nobody makes Android apps? Or Android phones all have the exact same resolution? There is no iPad support because fragmentation exists under iOS. Too much work for developers to support so many devices with so many screen resolutions.

Did you have the Pro version? The 4 years of Gold was for Pro users only I believe.
Antenna's speed and sharing options can't be surpassed. It's just too much awesome. I'm sticking with Antenna for sureI'll have to see how this compares to antenna (formerly 'amrc'). Hard to imagine something can make reddit'ing easier, but a look won't hurt.
Update: Seems ok, but sticking with antenna. I find the swiping left/right far easier to get around.
From a quick run through I can only see things that I dislike.
- There is no easy way to preview videos and images (long press in alien blue).
I just started using Antenna because of this news. I was fairly happy with Alien Blue but decided it was time to find alternatives, since it won't be maintained anymore and was hardly updated anyway. I've been using Antenna for less than a day, and I can already tell I'll be happier with it than I was with Alien Blue. Now I'm just wondering why I didn't move to AMRC/Antenna earlier.I'll have to see how this compares to antenna (formerly 'amrc'). Hard to imagine something can make reddit'ing easier, but a look won't hurt.

Trust me, that's a good thing, as you're not missing out on anything.the world is US only again...
Don't forget no landscape orientation or iPad support. What is everyone liking about this over Alien Blue?

it seems super basic at this point and I can't really see the advantage over just using the redesigned mobile site.
- There is no easy way to preview videos and images (long press in alien blue).
- Even when going to the page, all of optimized content views are gone.
- There is no more gallery view
- The comment editor doesn't give you any way to preview formatting
- Voting arrows are inline. They take up room and increase the chance of accidentally downvoting stuff as you're just scrolling.
Trust me, that's a good thing, as you're not missing out on anything.
Agreed, this has been my favorite out of all of them. It's minimal, clean, intuitive, chock full of options, and they are continually improving. Reddit should've just bought them out instead of creating their own. Alien Blue always seemed a bit clunky. They also looked like crap before the redesign.
I'm not on Reddit, although I've long heard about it. But what makes it so special? What would make me more inclined to post in that "forum" than say here? I don't understand its appeal.
