This is beautiful. But an Air it is not.
I wouldn’t say waaaaaay too high, but it should have had a RAM bump to 16GBThe price point is waaaaaaay to high.
Looks like it to me. I actually don’t hate Starlight, I just hate it as a replacement for Silver which is what (up until now) Apple and others have been pushing it as.Is the Starlight the same color shade as the watch and phone? I am not crazy about silver. The Midnight blue is sleek.
At least Apple is giving buyers a lot of flexibility on how much to spend with this model vs MBP 13" vs 14" MBP. See this spreadsheet from 9-5Mac comparing pricing.Like that it has:
-> 1080p camera
-> 500 nits of brightness
-> 4 speakers with Spatial Audio
-> a three mic array
-> and of course the M2 chip.
There's alot to like here.
I can’t tell if you’re joking or notSOLD!
Lighter, thinner, better battery life, totally silent, and faster at the kinds of tasks that a regular computer is used for.Still no SD Card. Ridiculous price tag for the spec: for 300 more you get a Pro device. Why shall I buy this Air? For some more battery life?
It's not a replacement for silver; Starlight is more of a replacement for rose gold.Looks like it to me. I actually don’t hate Starlight, I just hate it as a replacement for Silver which is what (up until now) Apple and others have been pushing it as.
For the MBA yes. What I was saying as until now, for the iPhone and watch, it was being positioned as a replacement for Silver. So gives me hope that Apple will bring Silver back for those now.It's not a replacement for silver; Starlight is more of a replacement for rose gold.
I lug a a big honkin' 14" to and from work daily. I would totally get this...Still no SD Card. Ridiculous price tag for the spec: for 300 more you get a Pro device. Why shall I buy this Air? For some more battery life?
I could have sworn the presentation indicated the same battery life of 18 hrs video playback. I expect real world tests to confirm or contradict with video and other scenarios.The M2 Air looks great, but how does battery life compare with the M1 MacBook Air? Sounds like it might be a bit of a downgrade in battery?
Where do you see better battery life? They said it was the same. Which was my biggest disappointment with it.Lighter, thinner, better battery life, totally silent, and faster at the kinds of tasks that a regular computer is used for.
It has the same stated battery life as the M1 Air, but the M1 Air has better battery life than the 14" Pro which is what they were asking about.Where do you see better battery life? They said it was the same. Which was my biggest disappointment with it.
im afraid of how it will be priced lolThank god no white keyboard. Looking forwards to the 15-inch MBA next year.
