Quadra 700's are the computers in the control room in the first Jurassic Park. In Independence day a powerbook is used to defeat the aliens and I believe that the lab room is full of either Mac II's, IIx's or IIfx's. Given the year probably IIfx's. Also Sylvester Stallone used a Powerbook in Assassins. A hole plethora of Mac models appear in the net. She uses a powerbook probably a 520c or 540c and either powermac 8100's or Quadra 800/840AV's.

3 iMac G4s and 1 iBook G4 in "Meet the Fockers"

All the time in "Law and Order SVU"

"The Constant Gardner" - 15" TiBook

"Friends" - Ross, 15" TiBook

Nice catch! :D

Also on Veronica Mars, Veronica's friend Mac (short for Mackinzie, I think) is supposed to be very good with computers. We never see her computer, but there's a short conversation of her arguing with a guy on why OS X is superior to Linux.

On Alias, they use Dells in the field, but 15" and 17" Powerbooks in the sleek and modernistic APO office. They cover up the Apple on the front with a red dot, but in some shots you can clearly see the line on the monitor that says PowerBook G4.

lol. why cover such a cool symbol with a "red dot"! lol

'Popstar' Chris Martin and Gwenyth Paltrow have named their kid 'Apple'- does that count?

It'll be handy if she ends up marrying a Mr Macintosh.

Alton Brown on the Food Network show Good Eats. A powerbook is clearly seen in many episodes. They are not just props though. He uses them to create parts of the show as well.

An iPod and an oldschool G3 iMac are central to the plot of "Runaway Jury".

In "One Hour Photo", the husband in the family that Robin Williams' character is stalking is in one scene working on a design for a chair. He has one of the plastic 23" Studio Displays. Later, he asks at the Wal-Mart whether some small gadget will "work with his Mac". That movie had product placement all over the place!

Strangely, at Roskilde Festival this year (four-day music festival, 150+ acts), every mac on stage had it's logo covered with duct tape. Needless to say, there were a lot of Macs on stage :). I didn't notice the covering-up last year - new policy?

I saw another the other day, on a Mcdonalds commercial of all places. I don't know if the same commercial runs outside of Canada though, they were talking about the new monopoly game and showed a pb, the back logo was covered as well.

In this manga GTO, there are several references to Macs. These take place around 1999. In one issue, a teacher gives another teacher his old PowerBook (I can't remember what it was) when he got a G3 powerbook. Also, at one point, the main character smashes this same teacher's brand new B&W G3 Powermac and B&W CRT. It doesn't just show them, though. He actually yells "My brand new G3!"
Also, in the cartoon Home Movies, the main character was using a laptop with a grape logo to write movie reviews.

From Six Feet Under:

Brenda, Nate's Girlfriend/Fiancée, uses a Powerbook to write her novel.

Amazing Show.

-MI5 has them all the time (mostly iMacs) (Spooks in the UK)
-TV Guide uses nothing but Macs in their offices (save for the printing presses)
-Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
-House MD
-John Doe
-24
-Fastlane
-VIP

2003 - "Something's Gotta Give" Diane Keaton's had a Powerbook
1996 - "Independence Day" Jeff Goldblums's Powerbook
1995 - "Hackers" Angelina Jolie's character "Acid Burn" has a Powerbook
1995 - "The Net" the computer's used in that movie were PowerMacs and Powerbooks, but the operating system was some made up OS that sort of looked like Mac.
1993- "Jurassic Park" Used some Quadros

Bewitched - late 60's... Samantha's husband, Darrin (sp?), won over a young Steve Jobs and got the Apple account for the "Mac"mann & Tate ad firm. Darrin brought home all these cool prototypes...I think Tabetha got a Shuffle but Sam scarfed it. It was better stuff than she could conjure up..

I MUST HAVE ONE!

Reruns are good for something

The Simpsons, the episode where Lisa plays ice hockey and she and Bart compete for affection. At the beginning of the episode, Jimbo makes a note to "Beat up Martin" in his Newton. He does, and the machine reads it as "Eat up Martha." In frustration, the Newton is thrown at Martin. Ha Ha!

Alton Brown is a huge Apple fan. His shows used to be created with Avid, but he was going to switch to a full Apple setup. He's had G3 iBooks and iMacs, as well as G4 PowerBooks. Searching for Alton Brown with Apple or Mac brings a lot of recipes but he has been interviewed by MacWorld before, I've read the article on the net somewhere.

The main one I notice is the Pismo? in Sex and the City, already mentioned. But you can spot them in pretty much any show you watch that has computer in it.

these so called "apple" machines are so sexy, I'm suprised they haven't shown up in porn....

The new vid iPods play porn.....
