refurb iPhones back in today 5/21!

tried for two...got one

Well, I tried to get two: one one my name, second on my wife's. Didn't work. Obviously. Worth the try, I guess. Hope to make some good money on the refurb. Then I'll have all the cash I need for the new one!

Sure will be tempting to hang on to it though! I really miss my iPhone!
 
Had a close call. Got an email that I had to call. I called and it appears that they had the CC under my name when I had to use my wife CC until mine arrives sometime this week. The rep took care of that and $267.05 I'm good :) I'll be selling the BB Curve on Craigslist this weekend for make up for it.
 
dangit they ran out of them, when do you think they will be instock? I am almost about to buy one second hand that has a small crack in the top of the glass for 200....
 
gah..! omg I'm getting so mad... been waiting to buy a return to replace my touch forever!!! and now they're out!!! :(:(
 
SO what is it with AT&T? Do they just post the link and put some iphones on the website when the feel like it, or does this come on the same time each week?

Random to us, based on inventory and Apple's 3G plans to them. In other words, there is no regularity to them being released to the site, save for speculation that the two recent listings are the result of (1) being very close to the release of the 3G and (2) ATT not wanting a bunch of the "old" style sitting on hand.
 
I ordered mine on the 21st of May. It says 2 day priority mail. I just called and they said it has not even been shipped yet! I was so looking forward to hopefully getting it on Saturday at the latest. :(
The nice lady did say that because of the holidays it would most likely be 3-5 days. That is a load of crap if I ever heard it. Ya'll have a nice day. I know I won't.

I ordered mine before noon on the 21st and the lady said mine hasn't been shipped either. Got the same 3-5 day crap you did.
 
Check your credit card if you have already been charged. Customer service is notoriously in the dark until the shipping dept inputs the tracking number, and the shipping dept tends to lag behind a day or two. But if you have been charged it definitely has shipped.

Thanks Tasset. My card was charged the same day I ordered it. So does that mean it's on the way even though "the nice lady" on the phone said her records show the order has been confirmed but it hasn't left the warehouse and there is no tracking number?
 
I have ordered about 30 phones thru AT&T or Premier over the last year, and my experience has been that yes it has shipped even when customer service doesn't show it. I have even been on the phone with customer service trying to get a tracking number when the Fedex rang my doorbell...
 
I've yet to get a shipping confirmation, but I've given up on even receiving that email, I'm just hoping that my phone arrives today. If not then Tuesday will be the day most likely.
 
for those of you bought the refurb from AT&T, were you able to update your Warranty through Apple ? I tried to update my warranty info and I got denied.

Anyone else ?
 
Ordered my 16GB at 5 pm Wednesday, got the confirmation email, was told yesterday that it was shipped (possibly, in shipping),no tracking number yet after 36 hours. I hope I don't get an "empty bag" on Tuesday. Maybe since their shipping dept. ineptness made headlines with the "empty bag" shipment- they put a slow down on all shipments to save more embarasment???

This is longest I've ever waited for a shipping confirmation from any company :mad:
