im kind of nervous about the black one I ordered. Most if not all the things ill be doing is internet reading and everything text. I read guys saying white is better for that. I guess if its straining on my eyes ill just get a white case. They make cases that cover all the black right?

Don't worry Black looks great. Every Tablet i've owned has been Black and I find the black bezel blends in while using it especially at night. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and an iPad 3 both in Black and I have not had any issues while reading.

Well I'm on the iPad. Looks and works brand new. It's going to take a while to get used to with typing and all that but it's pretty amazing. I'll be honest though I already want the retina screen. After coming from the iPhone 4s with the retina screen to this, I can definitely tell a difference. It's still good, but pictures and text are a little fuzzy, especially on instagram when it's enlarged.

Yeah most who buy an iPad 2 want to make the jump. I would seriously hold off till next year's update as the difference between the 2 and 3 is the Retina Display and the GPU to handle the increased resolution. There are probably a few minor improvements.

I'm the opposite as I need to downgrade the resolution as my eyesight is crap. Everything on the Retina display looks tiny and i'm constantly zooming in.

So how do you like the Black bezel?

Yeah I'll wait. I like it. The screen itself shows finger prints pretty bad but nothing a microfiber cloth can't clean. I'm looking at cases now.

For those that are getting a refurb, would you mind posting your impressions on overall condition? If they appear just as good as new I may not open my iPad 2 and send it back to Apple and just buy a 32GB refurb. :)

Last year I bought a refurb iPad 1 for my grandkids. It was like new and is still going strong. I got the 16 gig wifi because that's all they need. They have used it every day for just over a year. My son worked for Dell many years ago and their refurbs go through a much more rigorous QC. I expect Apple is the same. We always bought refurbs back then.

I bought the Speck fit folio on amazon. Looks good and has good reviews. $30

Yes, refurbs are treated just like any new iPad. :)

Hey that looks nice !

i thought they don't carry the regular applecare anymore? i'm planning to wait til the end of one year to get the applecare, but applecare+ requires to be purchased under one month after purchase.

I just got my refurb and it looks brand new like everyone said it would. You can't tell a refurbed from a new iPad even up close. :)
