I've got another feature request: How about some way to reorder your classes once they have been created? I created a few, but now have no way to switch them around if I need to. The same thing applies to assignments. A simple drag-and-drop feature would be great! Keep up the good work. :)

Sorry, is this Tiger only?

I'm on 10.3.9 and it's not actually opening for me?

Sounds like a great application too!

Rich.

Good luck with it, looks good, how about a port to windows!:p (done in realbasic)

I'll ditto that.

WOW! Good job! Is this our first app? I see no major problems whatsoever... so I'll go into super-nitpick mode. Don't get mad or think I'm an *******, but I'm just playing Steve Jobs for a moment:

*You should find a graphic designer on here and poke them until they make you a nice app icon.
*When I check off an assignment, all of its steps in the step-by-step section should automatically be checked off as well.
*The Add/Remove buttons look a little funny.
*There should be an "All Subjects" option in the sidebar that pools all subjects together.
*The sidebar should be longer, so it vertically fills the window.

Changing as I work... So keep your eyes open!

1) Work in progress.
2) Work in progress.
3) Hey man, I love those buttons! :D
4) Work in progress.
5) Done.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Unfortunately, it is 10.4+ only.

That is, unless someone can tell me how to make Core Data frameworks available in a pre-Tiger NIB format...

I, too, think this is a great little application. Thanks for sharing it with us. I'm not in school anymore, but I think it will make a nice little project management app for use in my business. I've been trying to find something really simple that doesn't take all day to learn or use and I think this will do the trick. You should send it to Apple to post on their downloads page. I think you'd get lots of hits.
Thanks again!

This is awesome!

Is it a UB? EDITx2 Indeed it is!

EDIT Perhaps add a thing to your website to allow people to e-mail others about the app? A "Tell A Friend!" sort of thing?

EDITx3 Sorry, but maybe you could also add some more screenshots to your site?

I really like it. I think it would be cool to have a widget that works with the original app, displaying just the assignments.

Oh ****

I'm on the front page of digg.com

Anyone know where I can put stuff to drop bandwidth?

Edit: Seriously, I need help! My site's going to be dead in a matter of minutes for the rest of the month!!

Editx2: A big thanks to XIII... I'd be dead if it weren't for you. :D

I have another suggestion:
the add/delete buttons look a little, well, not right.
Upon further scrutiny I found that the plus/minus are lower than the center line... which makes them look weird. Ideas?

Also, if I close iProcrastinate window and click the dock icon the window does not reappear. I have to quit and reopen.

Finally, you are free to use some of my bandwidth if you need it:

Great work! A simple yet useful app, and seems very bug free, so a good base to build on.

I really should learn how to use CoreData and bindings etc for my own apps, but I keep avoiding it!

PS I think the comment about the +/- buttons are due to them not being full height, so the labels are not centred vertically. If you add a pixel or two of height that should fix it up. (heh, Mac users can be so picky sometimes :D)

Dude, this is the most awesome little App I've ever seen!

I'm struggling to find stuff to improve on. Possibly a choice to select little icons for the different subjects (I'm sure there's a designer on here who would be willing to help), and I also second the re-ordering thing!

Other than that, it's awesome!

You should look at making more apps like this when this one is 'finished' (if you don't think it is already  ). Maybe you could release a 'student organisation' suite? ;)

Ahh well, thanks for the reply!

Hope you can get one working for Panther, as i'm an artist and very disorganised!

From the feedback you have here, i think you should turn this into something more serious! You can afford to charge a few bucks for this little App. I mean so you can continue to write more!

The organisation suite sounds like a brilliant idea! Do something quick, i'm unaware of anything like it!

Congratulations and i wish you the best of luck!

Rich.

I can let you have some of my bandwith if you still need help. I have around 500 GB bandwidth. PM me if interested.

^^^
Damn. That guy has a lot.

I have about 1Gb bandwidth I can lend out if needed. PM me

This might not be just for students, you know. In my engineering job I keep a log book which basically breaks down into a bunch of hierarchical to-do lists, much like this.

When I get a machine with Tiger (still running 10.3.9 here) I wouild love to check this out!

Always good to see filks developing freeware. I hope that it gives you some good experience.

It would be really cool if you put it on your resume, and the person interviewing you has heard of it or has used it!
