Yes the glance shows a summary of how many items you have on different categories. Taping on it takes you to the app where you can see the detail and scroll lists. I'd previously found I could only see the first three items on my grocery list but can now scroll with the crown. Liking this app even more

Yes. Raise your wrist, say "Hey Siri remind me to get milk when I leave work". Done. It creates a reminder in the reminders app on your phone. When you leave the work geofence, it launches the reminder in phone and to your watch.

Also someone mentioned in another thread that you can Clear the confirm dialogue box by saying "hey siri, ok". It's a little inelegant but does work and lets you add reminders totally hands free. Love it for adding items to my grocery list while cooking and do far my favourite thing about the watch

Thanks for your work on this.

One more question - how do I get the "All" view on the iPhone also visible on the Watch?

I don't have the 'All' on the watch at the moment. There is a limitation of 20 items per list, that I'm trying to work around. I decided not to include that until I got that sorted out.

----------

I tried it and it doesn't seem to keep in sync if I add a reminder in IOS native App unless I close/re-open the app with the task switcher. I have to do this every time.

I'm creatively working with some pretty interesting limitations at he moment. The syncing between the phone an the watch for reminders is a bit slow, so in the next update (currently in line for review) I'm adding a (+) button within each list for faster additions to the list.

Great! Glad it got sorted out. The very first version only showed the top 3 items, but I updated that the day before watch launch day. I'm constantly working on it, so I appreciate the feedback

By the way, the Watch component of Up Next is just the tip of iceberg. Here's a promo video I made for it last year. It's needs to be updated with the watch features, but it give you the gist https://youtu.be/bAtH9rY2OiM

Up Next was a little bit too much for me. I don't need all of the extra features that it offers, and all I needed was a simple grocery checklist on my watch. For that purpose, Daily Bread is perfect.

Take a look at 2DO.... they have a watch app that syncs with the native reminders app.

Sort of double duty, but it works fine for me.

Edit: i bought it years ago.. kind of nuts that they are asking $15 for it now

It has some poor reviews as well as $15 price.

Anyone know any others that sync with native Reminders app?

I currently use the iOS reminders app to store grocery and drug store lists and was looking forward to pulling those up on my wrist while shopping. It's also been great because I could just use Siri to add something to one of these lists on my phone.

I guess I'll start using Wunderlist to keep track of my shopping lists since I won't actually be able to pull up the reminders app on the watch.

It's mentioned elsewhere in this thread but pointing out there is a 20 item limit. I went to the store with 29 items on my list but could not see the end of the list until I removed a few items. The process of checking off items on the watch was very slow, required the list to reload each time I did and was not consistent. I would press an item to remove it and it would remain or it would go away and the repeated press would remove another item. I'm sure this is to do with everything being new but so far it's no replacement for the reminders app on the phone. Loved being able to keep my phone in my pocket but past that it needs work. Hope Apple adds reminders as a native app that will store lists on the watch and update to the phone in the background.

All with Wunderlist.

I haven't tried doing this with wunderlist yet but did use next up as my grocery list today and it worked great, none of the issues you described for wunderlist. Only inconvenience was that each time I dropped my wrist I would have to launch it again, i fixed this by going into settings -> general -> activate on wrist raise and changing it to resume previous activity.

New version of Up Next allows for more than 20 items on Watch (thank you!) but it doesn't appear to synchronize.

My tasks list on my Watch is both different from the iPhone Up Next and that itself is different from the Apple Reminders app list (items that were deleted days ago, items that have been edited since).

Just me or is anyone else seeing this?

Are there any Apple Watch enabled reminder apps with nagging alarms? I'm using Alarmed! atm but it hasn't been updated in ages.

I have narrowed it down to the fact that Up Next doesn't DELETE tasks that have been deleted from the Reminders app - it leaves the "dead ones" on there.

ishabazz can you comment on this?

That's correct. It's one of the things I'm working on. Due to some backend complexity the initial choice came down keeping items that had been deleted in reminders or potentially deleting items that hadn't but were just not visible due to bad syncing information. Between the two I elected to keep the data. This isn't ideal though, so I'm working on better solution. In the meantime, deleting from within Up Next is probably best.

What's the name of the app
The link don't work on safari iphone

The name of the app is "Up Next - What To Do When"

That's something on my list of features to add, but in the meantime, I've heard a lot of great things about 'Due'

Was looking for a solution to the Reminder-app-missing issue and I almost feel on my chair looking at the price of 2Do. I bought this app back when I had my 3GS and to see it goes that high is insane!!

Slightly long winded, but there is a good workaround using wunderlist, iftt and ios reminders.

I find IFTT a little temperamental, however, after some tweaking, the above solution works well. Any reminder i make on the reminders app or siri syncs with wunderlist, and is available as a neat and clean list on my watch.

This is the app to get. No bullcrap subscription fees or any of that nonsense. $5 a month for Wunderlist... seriously? It's a friggen reminders app. Pay $5 one time and you get Due on the iPhone, iPad, and watch. You can even still use siri to create notifications. Due has a feature that allows you to import reminders directly from the default reminders app, as well as delete them from there after import.

Bigger problem is that it looks like EDITED tasks don't get updated either? So if I change the details on a task it doesn't reflect the changes on my Watch?

Is this correct ishabazz?

I like the app Clear.

Although it doesn't try to sync with reminders therefore won't work with Siri, it does allow to make lists on the iPhone and can view them and check them off. Can even set reminders on iPhone.

I use it to make little lists of things I need to do and check off on my Apple Watch.

I just got that app yesterday. Simple and effective

Cool!
I use Clear on my iPhone, iPad and iMac. I didn't know that it worked with the Apple Watch. I don't need to search for a reminder app for my watch now :D

I was playing with Clear and found out can add items to a list on the watch using Force Touch and then dictate it. Only issue I find is I can't create a new list and instead can only add to existing ones.

Can't you just ask Siri on the Watch "Show me my reminders" and you will get a listing?

I got Up next but found it buggy so removed it.

I did however install Reminders Nano and think it it is great for a simple app. It syncs with iOS Reminders and you can complete them on the watch and then add additional ones via force touch.

We have a shared shopping list for home and I've been able to view and add items using Siri with great effect.

Highly recommended
