I got Up next but found it buggy so removed it.

I did however install Reminders Nano and think it it is great for a simple app. It syncs with iOS Reminders and you can complete them on the watch and then add additional ones via force touch.

We have a shared shopping list for home and I've been able to view and add items using Siri with great effect.

Highly recommended

Agreed. Reminders Nano is the "missing app" Apple would have created themselves. Up Next isn't worth the trouble.

I'm a big fan of Goodtask 2 on the iPhone and iPad. They also have an Apple Watch application. The dev also has an Notification Center and Apple Watch app called OneList which also uses the native reminders database. The free version allows one list while .99 cents (a donation) allows multiple lists.

Just found Reminders Nano by KendiTech

Perfect miniature Watch viewer for Apple's built-in Reminders app.

Exactly what I was looking for.

This app works great. Only wish they would add a glances and also allow you to rearrange the order of the lists, since some lists are less important or accessed less than others but overall a good temporary solution till apple comes out with theirs. Only a dollar too

I was playing with Clear and found out can add items to a list on the watch using Force Touch and then dictate it. Only issue I find is I can't create a new list and instead can only add to existing ones.

oh wow! that's so awesome! i've been playing with it.... it added a couple of times but also missed a couple... might have misses cuz the cell service stinx here....

So I already use Fantastical 2 to manage my calendar and reminders, both which are pulled from Apple built-in Calendar and Reminders app. I have no intention to purchase another iOS app reminder (I have too many apps as it is!).

So what's the concensus on which app can display the list of reminders? I looked at Clear but they're too expensive ($4.99).

Reminders Nano. You will get the iPhone app too (you have to for the Watch to work) but just dump it in a folder somewhere and forget it. The Watch app is the one you'll actually use.

That looks cool. Err.. does it show the List? I.e. Home List, Work List, etc.. I can't tell from the screenshot.

Hmmm... Unfortunately the Reminders Nano app does NOT SORT reminders based on its due date. I hope this will be fixed in the future.

Also, having a "Scheduled" view showing all Reminders from ALL LISTS will be great, since I have different reminders for different lists on a same day.

Yeah, this is the Watch dilemma. Keep it simple and usable versus piling on the features.

I want sorting by category (my tasks come from an Exchange server) but I recognize that by the time we all get the specific features we want the app will be unwieldy on the Watch.

It's good enough for me - I just scroll down the whole list to see what I need.

OneList allows sorting of reminders based on due date and order the sort criteria from the iPhone app.

I actually just want the reminder sorted by its due date and time. Right now I have around 50 reminders for the next 6 months and it's all over the place. I.e. the 3rd one shown is for reminder that is due in 5 months, the 1st one shown is due on a few days, etc.

Ya, I'm sold on OneList. Works great. I don't feel so bad giving $2 to the dev for Up Next, at least he's been responsive to us here, and I'm sure he'll make those needed fixes and add new features.

+1 for Reminders Nano. Just what I was looking for.

Are you saying that Fantastical 2 supports the Appe Watch? If so, what is the source of your information? I would LOVE to access Fantastical 2 on my Apple Watch!

Oh no, I meant I don't want to have 2 reminders apps in my iPhone. Fantastical 2 dollars any yet support the watch.

I think OneList is a bit buggy. It display the list of reminders, but quite often when I tap on it so I can mark a reminder as complete and I got... blank screen.

Just picked up Reminders Nano as well. So far it's awesome and definitely the "missing Apple app". Only have 2 gripes with it:

1) as other said, can't sort lists, and
2) the text is jumbled up is you have large reminder name. So if the reminder item is only one word like "milk" it's fine. But if the item is "pick up a jug of milk from the grocery store" the text is going to be off the screen. Not sure a bug or Watch OS system limitation.
