You are 100000 bazillion times correct regarding Apple because by following their method, you are guaranteed to lose quality, which is the point of the exercise. But you will notice that they did not allow direct digital conversions. Regardless, I agree with you. I was being devils avocado (Tracy Jordon - 30 Rock :) ) for a moment.

Haha, okay.

I'm not 100% sure on the quality of M4V Converter but it looked close if not the same as the source. I'm assuming quality isn't people's number 1 concern or else they wouldn't buy videos on iTunes.

Hi, I'm bumping this thread because I want to see if there is any new answers to the problem of removing DRM from iTunes Videos?

I bought 3 shows from iTunes that are each 42 minutes long would like to watch them on my TV (via DVD).

I can watch anything that is on my MacBook by VGA + audio cable...

That's good.

I personally don't want to have a laptop everytime I want to watch a video. It's a lot cheaper and less worrisome to carry a burned DVD around to my friend's house than bringing a Mac, correct cables and power supply. ;)

Dot dot dot

Thank You! Thank You!

I've been looking all day for this software. I purchased a TV Show that will not be on DVD until the end of Sept.
Thanks again

When Apple put DRM on music, they put instructions on their site how to remove it via burning a copy of the song and ripping it back to iTunes..was that a moral/ethical issue?

Why is this different?

At the end of the day, I bought a show. I'm not uploading that show on torrents. I am not making copies for friends. I want to watch it on my comfortable couch and a large widescreen TV.

Anyways, I found out how to remove DRM: M4V Converter Plus.

Now, since I can watch movies/shows on any DVD Player, I will buy most my media digitally.

Just to be clear:

If I download a TV Show from Itunes to my hd and then buy a new Mac, copy the video to the new Mac, then I'll have to authorize the new mac with the itunes ID I bought the TV Shows with?

If I loose my apple ID for some reason I won't be able to play all my downloads anymore???

Correct on all counts.
