After using my 5S for all of a day, I'm understanding a lot of the benefit of a one handed phone. I can imagine people who commute on subway or bus might be into that even more. I'd love a larger screen, but now I wonder what that would do to usability.

Exactly. One handed use is sometimes underrated. I've had phones larger than 4.7 and they are a bear to use because they're so big. I just can't see Apple going that route with their flagship phone unless they had bigger and smaller options.

One hand useability is a great feature. While phablets have become popular ,its not everyones first choice.
Hopefully Apple comes out with a small and large size iPhone 6

That's my best guess. Kind of like the iPad lineup with two sizes. There are advantages and drawbacks to both.

A rather nice rendering. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what a potential product could look like. I think a 4.7 inch phone would be too big for me.

Have to agree. 4.7 might be to big While gaining size we would lose the one hand operability .

iPhone 6

The iPhone 5s is very nice. However, I saw and held the droid ultra, HTC One and the galaxy note and their screen sizes are impressive and comfortable to hold. I think the iPhone would kill ALL competition if Apple would just release a phone with the larger screen. With a six inch screen there is so much more you can see at one time and writing, viewing, creating and editing would be so much more enjoyable and efficient. ;)

I think a big screen for the sake of a big screen is rather pointless and not something that is characteristic for apple. A screen size closer to 5" (than to 4") would probably allow apple to tweak the software to offer much exciting stuff. From multitasking to the ability to longer battery life...A bigger screen is inevitable and I do not feel apple will look at marginal scree increase...They increased the screen by around 15% so expect at minimum a 4.5" screen..I feel the screen would be closer to 5 (4.7 or 4.8) and I fully expect apple to offer a UE that is much different from what larger screens and phones such are doing now. Apple will surely look at a phablet at some point of time given that they do tend to see what others are doing and improve..6 could be offered in two variants or apple could do a phablet that is separate from the iphone brand (unlikely)...The Chinese market is important to apple and its where a phablet sells rather well.

My :apple:wish list: 1) 4.8 " IGZO Display Screen 2) 2-3 GB Ram 3) Much improved battery Life 4) OS enhancements that provide multi tasking and a greater use of the touch ID :)

Anything less and i'll switch boat
