I’d love to see less of a bezel around the screen to make the screens larger and also potentially some form of wider aspect (I know people downplay this) but it would make the device overall more work-friendly because you could attach an external display and fill the screen for desktop usage...

Apple has always lagged behind having the latest processor in it line products. It's like buying last years technology. Until put the latest processors in it line of product s and the price is reasonable then I'll buy windows and android devices

What?

The processors in iPads and iPhones blow away the processors in any mobile competition. What are you talking about?

This is beyond dumb, nobody is carrying around an iPad, especially the 12.9" variant, for its better camera. Either you have an 11 Max Pro, or a professional camera. My model is also tremendously fast with 1TB, so I need more innovation to make it worthwhile. People won't line up for iPad's for triple lens and a 14X processor.

Keep in mind that many iPad users do a lot of scanning, OCR and archiving using the iPad camera. I OCR sheet music every day and even with my iPhone 11 Pro, I prefer to scan using my first gen iPad Pro (although the iPhone 11 Pro camera spanks the pants off of the iPad’s camera). Being able to frame the image on the 12.9” iPad is a pretty big deal and having the triple lens camera (which is so much better at capturing fine details and depth for quality OCR), will be huge for those of us that do this sort of thing.

And don’t forget Augmented Reality. The triple lens camera on a 12.9” iPad Pro with an A13x will be amazing for that kind of thing too!

I think that’s why Apple is including the triple lens. And also to continue to lock up the tablet market which Apple soundly owns. No reason to give Android any reason to exsist in the tablet market, (if you’re Apple that is)!

Wrong. There’s a whole bunch of us iPad Pro users that make heavy use of the iPad Pro camera to scan, OCR and archive. Framing documents with the iPad is so much better than with an iPhone. I’m holding off on upgrading my iPad Pro until Apple adds the triple camera. I need it.

If you notice, the 12.9” iPad Pro is roughly the same size as a letter size sheet of paper. I think that’s Apple’s reasoning for the pixel size. It basically fits between an 8x10 photo or a 8.5x11 letter size sheet of paper, which I like because for writing music notation it’s basically WYSIWYG which is perfect for me.

We have a few iPads as well as iPhones...I just don't see the allure of any iPad these days from an upgrade point of view.

1. The cameras on all the iPads stink...and are far behind any iPhone even several generations/years before said iPad release. I know people hate holding these iPads to take videos, but there are plenty of $20 accessories that will hold them for you to record something. I use such said grip for my iPhone to record outdoor nature and it's fantastic. If the iPad/Pro would have a significantly improved camera and some advertisement/promotion of said grip, people may just buy these machines for their video capabilities AND large screen size to watch/review later.

2. The iPad, in general in all forms/models, has had no major feature upgrade in 5+ years. Please don't reply stating the passwords/fingerprint/security are wonderful new features. Where are the NEW USE CASES for iPad? It's the same old email/web surfing/game playing device from the past 7+ years. I don't have a feature list handy to post but the iPad is like a pad of paper...nothing innovative.

3. The iPad Pro really needs a major spec bump as well as *technical* bump such as additional ports, a local file system, far more iOS features over the regular iOS (this is a Pro model...right?). The USB port on the iPads is terrible...taking eons to copy MP3 files from iTunes. Clearly it is running at USB 2.0 speeds regardless of what Apple claims. I like to copy 100+ MP3s every few weeks and maybe 2-3 movies and it's painfully slow in late 2019 with the latest iPad models (and it's not my machine).

4. iOS still refuses to have different logins. For example, my wife and I being able to "log in" to a single iPad and I have my browser bookmarks and email setup and she has hers. The idea from Apple is that we should each go plunk down $300+ for an iPad. Apple really should have different logins even if there is a limit of 2 users. With all the cloud and profile syncing that Apple already provides, it likely wouldn't stop most families from buying 2+ iPads...but it would be a huge benefit for my wife and I to only have to take 1 iPad on vacation.

5. From an iPad Pro standpoint, where are the blazing CPU specs and amazing screen resolution and amazing screen size? Why not offer some great 17" iPad? With the current pricing for the "pro" versions of other models, I'm sure Apple could find people to drop $2000 on a 17" iPad Pro.

All this being said, there hopefully is an iPad Pro coming out before April that will address many of my concerns/requests/advice.
I think you’re missing the point of the iPads. It’s all about the apps. There are some killer high end pro apps only available for iPad OS, (no iPhone version). A good example? StaffPad. $89 in the App Store and with add ons it goes over $200. Sound expensive? It’s really not because it’s truly a pro app with appropriate pricing. Look it up. Cubasis 3, Symphony Pro 6, Photo and Designer. These are all iPad only apps. And they’re great on an iPad Pro. That’s where the value is. And there are many more examples of this. The hardware is already there. It’s the apps that are just now catching up to the hardware’s potential. (I can’t speak to the speed of the USB port).
12.9” is the size a letter size paper. Perfect. The A12x IS blazing fast.

It’s not the content consumption device you presume it is. I use mine everyday in my industry, in a professional environment. I no longer own a laptop because I prefer the tablet form
factor. Multiple logins? That would be welcome. However the iPad is more of a personal device, IMO and I never share it with anyone. Would I if it had multiple accounts? Probably not but I can see how a family or school could make use of this.
