Replica Taktik cases on ebay?

Sounds good caveneau, glad you found the info you needed! The black does have that tactical look to it. Im not aware of iphonecase2011s stock levels but im sure he'll be able to give you a more accurate report on that or a time frame when he will have new stock. Post up when u get it in :) let us know how it goes

Lol I hear ya :) marketing savvy has always been an area I've been sorely lacking in. Although my main interest was to help give people the same info you guys have me. But you never know, maybe a free extra bezel color when it's all said and done ;) hint hint lol.

I just got an alert from eBay they pulled his auctions down (again) really eBay give it a rest already. I am sure he will post them up again, but you can do what I did and that was to email him through eBay and ask for pricing and color options. He replied very quickly considering he is in Hong Kong and let me know at that time he was re-listing them and the auction ID #. So shop with confidence, I did thanks to Terry8000.
 
I got my black metal case from iphonecase2011 and my quick take is the same as the official Lunatik; don't buy. The mute switch didn't work and I have an oil slick again. I'm disappointed yet again.
 
Just got my plastic case from AliExpress...

I have to say I am pleased. For $31 I am very pleased. I decided to buy on AliExpress and it worked out well. I bought a black plastic case with a black headphone port cover. It arrived today. Took three weeks from China. The glass is a smudge magnet, but I expected that from Terry8000's review. I might try some RainX on the glass, but I don't know how that will affect the black plastic. I have a couple minor knitpicks, but overall I'm quite impressed with the quality of the case. The main thing is that my case arrived with the screw post holds intact. If anyone cares, I bought mine from a supplier named Emgrand Technology. They shipped within two days, but it still took three weeks from the time I placed the order. I'll try to take some pictures when I can. Going to be busy the next few days.
 
Right on! Thanks for that updat octobob. The only reason I'm not recommending the plastic ones is there is a batch of faulty ones out there so if someone gets one and didn't buy from a good seller then they might b stuck with a faulty case. The metal ones did not suffer from that to my knowledge. But awesome to hear you for one of the good ones! I know itzastonish also got a good plastic one that's lasted well too.

Thanks for that heads up MacMD. I just read iPhonecase2011s comment to that effect on my youtube video as well. But yes MacMD is right, just contact iphonecase2011 directly for ordering info.
 
He says he'll have more Black aluminum cases at the end of April, only silver right now.

Shucks, I waited too long, too long.
 
iphonecase2011 just sent me a msg that he has more black alum cases. This went from this morning, he didn't have, to now he found one. He seems like a good guy.

I had to pull the trigger though and buy one from someone else for a similar price.

I told to iphonecase2011, that I would have rather bought from him because I heard good things about him, but then he said he knows the other seller. That's funny..I thanked him very much and maybe I'll buy a silver one from him.

Anyway, I will wait and see how long it takes to arrive from this other seller. I'm sure it's going to be the same model anyway.

Mine arrived in San Francisco on the 26th so with any luck it will be here by the weekend or early next week (NY). Looking forward to getting it.
 
Well, my knock off case arrived today, so here are some thoughts.

The good:
No rainbowing from the glass.
Case itself feels superb - exactly what I was after.

The bad:
The mute switch does not work at all.
The power button is too hard to press and is recessed too far in. Using the button is too hard.
Very strong smell (minor issue)
Glass isn't quite as slick as the regular iPhone glass (to be expected I guess)

Don't know if I'll keep it yet.

Had the same problem with the mute switch, you seemingly have to break it in.

The smell not sure of cause I didn't have it, but it's common with over seas products, air it out.

As far as rainbow effect, put an anti glare screen protector on the iPhone then put the case on and you won't have a problem at all.

Not as smooth as the iPhone screen without glass over it? Well, duh lol
 
Well mine is still in transit so hopefully it arrives next week. On that note the bad news is I will be selling it upon arrival so if anyone is looking for the Black Aluminum case let me know.

The reason I am selling is I won't be keeping my iP5 beyond a couple more months and just can't see keeping the case.

Its tough to walk away from the iPhone yet again, I will still have my iPad 4 LTE on Verizon but the 4" screen just doesn't work for me on the go and while I know so many dislike other OS's I am doing what I need to do for a 5" screen and more viewing space for reading and replying to emails for work and web use.

If Apple decides to offer a larger screen iPhone I will get it again at that point, but I will just live in two worlds, iOS on my iPad and likely Android on my phone just so I can actually read the screen. I'm not 20 anymore and need to read on the go :)

PM me if anyone is interested in the case, I will post when it arrives and provide full details at that time.
 
Just thought I'd post a quick update, I returned my case and received a full refund (minus the shipping back) from iphonecase2011. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him outside of eBay.
 
iphonecase2011 has been easy to work with and great communication. Now if the US Postal Service would actually deliver my package I would be happy it been in transit from San Francisco since 3/26/13 and today is 4/6/13, they said give it another week. LOL.
 
Oh man one more week. Seems our domestic services are slowing down and the third world is stepping up their pace, we need to buckle down over here with our postal transit services.
 
Idk how much longer I'm going to be on team iPhone fellas. Test driving the htc one when it releases. Going to keep both phones at first and see which I prefer. Miss some android features, but love the stability and battery life on iOS. Ahh Te troubles of being a techie ;)
 
lol thats okay. Theres lots of great phones out there besides the iphone. The only reason I go with apple is I need to have instant access to a repair/replacement center which the domestic north american apple stores provide. So for me its the ability to never be without my phone for more than a few hours should the worst occur and not necessarily the technical benefits of the unit itself

I hear ya. On a more related note, my case finally crapped out and the top right prong looking piece on the front part of the glass broke off.
 
My Replica TakTik Case in black FINALLY arrived today. My wife gets the mail so I will post up pictures tonight. I am sure its a great case, but since I no longer have an iP5 I don't need the case, otherwise I would be jazzed to have it finally.
