Replica Taktik cases on ebay?

I bought an original Lunatik Taktik Strike from the official reseller on ebay (tekcases) and don't regret it at all. Premium cases like these I don't like replicas, I prefer to pay for the real thing. If you have any problems, some sellers might not cover it.
Is this the right email address for iphonecase2011? I'm looking to pick up a case from him.

I joined this forum only because this thread. After reading this thread I decided to buy one of the Lunatik Taktik knockoff cases listed on Ebay. Because I did not know if I really needed one I bought the cheapest one I could find. I got my alluminium case for only 17USD (iPhone 4/4S version). The shipping took little less than a month, but that is normal form me when ordering something from China.
So the case arrived and I was really impressed. It came with all the packaging, cloth, screwdriver etc. like a real case. The quality of the case is really good. I haven't had any problems with it and I am very satisfied, I do not see any changes in reception.
I will try to make more pictures after using the case a little.

I just signed up here today to say that I ordered a black metal taktik iPhone 4 case from iphonecase2011 on August 6. Today is August 9 and the case has arrived. Hong Kong to the US East Coast in 3 or 4 days. The case is very nice. Mute works, fit and finish is nice, touch is sensitive. A+ for iphonecase2011.
I was able to get in contact with iphonecase2011 and place my order. As it's been stated many times before on this thread, this guy has EXCELLENT customer service. The case is fantastic, to say the least. Good quality, mute, vol-up / vol-dn and power buttons work flawlessly. Thanks to terry8000 for providing the info.

I am in the market for a new case and I wasn't sure whether I want an otterbox or a lifeproof fre. I decided to buy a silver taktik extreme for the iPhone 5. The only hard decision that I had to make was deciding which colors do I want (black, silver, or white). I was not sure whether the black goes well with my white iPhone 5, therefore I decided to get the silver to try out first. iPhonecase2011 sent me pictures of the package as well as the mailing envelope. Now, I am waiting 2 to 3 weeks for this package to deliver. Has anyone here ordered a silver taktik extreme for the iPhone 5 beside from Terry8000?

. Im pretty bummed out by it. I know many of you found it helpful. To be honest I really dont know what to do at this point Ive tried to look for some way to appeal the decision but I have found nothing. So if any of you have any expertise in this area please let me know on here and I will do my best to get the video back up.

Exactly why myself and you guys and the originators of this thread promote the knockoffs like we do, not that we recieve any financial gain but that its sad to watch people getting ripped off by lunatik. Thanks for that update Stratblues23

He will send you the back plate only. You would have to return the complete defective/damaged case for an exchange of a completely new one. In any case, he will always guarantee customer satisfaction.

Wow... I didn't know this was such a huge issue. I really believed that i was getting an original case for the $40.00 I paid on eBay. At first, I was really pissed, but everything I am reading tells me that the knock-off is better than the original.
So my "Extreme" came in the mail yesterday (Saturday) and I have to say, original or knock-off, I LIKE what I have here.
- It looks great and the phone is well protected.
- It functions well with everything except my Jawbone Up. I have to use an extension to synch it with the app on the phone.
This is a completely awesome case with one exception, which I hope I can find a solution to...
The VIBE button does not work. With the top bezel off, the button functions as expected. Once I put the top bezel on and screw it down, I can slide the button into the ring mode, but then am unable to go back to the vibrate mode.
I tried playing with the tension of the screws, but once that bezel is in place, the button doesn't work. It is as if the button is too short.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to correct it?
I never realized how important the vibrate switch was until I didn't have it anymore! LOL

Did you buy from iphonecase2011? Because as I have mentioned many times in this thread the new metal taktik cases he is selling all have perfectly working vibe switches. And yes the knockoffs are better than the original but only the aluminum ones (also the only ones iphonecase2011 sells) because if its the plastic knockoff it will have the same problems as the original ones which are cracking screw-bosses and other micro cracks in the bezels developing over time. Also right on the Lunatik website it says that they are the only sellers of the genuine case so anywhere else you buy is gonna be knockoff. The key is to make sure you are dealing with the recommended seller myself and the other founders of this thread have informed the people of for this reason, so that you are protected with the best possible case and best possible customer protection and service. I originally ordered a composite 4s case off of ebay from iphonecases2011 way back in the day. Loved the case and had zero issues until one day my screen cover cracked. Anyway, I then contacted iphonecases 2011 via email (with the help of this forum) to purchase a replacement. I opted for the aluminium one due to increased durability (this was probably back in early July). I was immediately disatisfied with the metal case. Not only was the oil slick problem ever-present, my phone also seemed to heat up and go through battery much quicker with it on (6hrs). Additionally the charge port cover was starting to tear after a short while. Anyway, I'm fed up with my lifeproof again, so back in the market. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the metal case. Should I purchase the composite case from iphonecases2011?

As it is, I purchased a case from an eBay seller in California for $30. I ordered it on Sunday and it got to me yesterday (Wednesday) in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Couldn't be happier with the speed of shipping at no extra charge!
I got the taktik extreme in silver and love it!! I remember thinking when I saw them on kick starter that it was cool, but no way paying $100+ for it. The one I have appears/feels like aluminum. Logo is etched into case, not printed on. Everything seems to be working like a champ. No problems with screen or vibe button. Slight drop in reception signal, but call quality, audio sound is perfect. I had been using a UAG case since the day I got my ip5. Liked it enough, but thought this looked way cool and more protection. It is large and heavy, but so far think I can get used to it. Will check back in awhile after using it to give update. Great thread and the video review from terry8000 was awesome!!

Ok these boards have helped me a lot. At first I was like eh about the fake case. But I've read all the pages and gave it a shot. I contacted iphonecase2011 and bought my black aluminum case. I received it 10 days later and I have to say it is awesome 8) I figured 36 bucks isn't a lot but my god this case is well worth it. First off great customer service from her, secondly everything works with the case. The dreaded mute button works great for me, it's not hard to push, I don't have to use a paper clip to push it, it's actually really easy to push it. The lock button is equally easy to push I don't have to force it or anything weird, it's easy to push. The volume buttons take a little force to push them but it's not that hard, acceptable to me, even my girl can push it. I can hear just fine through it, there is no longer tape covering the speaker it's mesh and very open. Charger fits fine, cover is easy to remove and snap back. My stock ear phones fit fine I don't have after market ones so I don't know about those, also the clip is easy to move and fun to play with. My screen, it did have the rainbow effect and then I realized I had one bolt too tight, loosened it and now it's gone. Been 3 weeks and has not come back. I live in the high desert of California so I don't know if moisture has any affect on it, it barely rains here. All of my touch works, the home button is easy to push. I have no loss of signal on wifi or the cell network. I'm overall very happy, seems all the bugs in the case are now fixed and for 36 dollars it is a well investment. I just had to give my review because all of these reviews have helped me make my decision and I had to give my own insight back. Also the case is heavy and big, I like it Ps I have an iphone 5s.

I have emailed iphone 2011 from the email in approx the middle of the thread but have not heard anything back in 2 days. Is this normal? has anyone heard from him or did he maybe change emails? Any help would be most appreciated as I want to get this shiny new baby in a good case soon.

Hey bro, Im one of the original founders of this thread and personal friends with iphonecase2011 so I can help you out.
First of all be advised the iphone 5S has a biometric sensor on the home button which will go back to working like a regular iphone home button if put in a fully enclosed case. Im sure you knew that but wanted to make you aware any way. Now secondly I personally have not seen an iphone 5S but I understand they are the same dimensions as the iphone 5, also the poster a few posts above you says he is using one on an iphone5S so I trust the 5 and 5S are the same sized phone.
The correct email to reach iphonecase2011 is 'iphone4gcaseshop@gmail.com' This email works fine and I just talked to him tonight so check the email addy to make sure you typed it in right.

I have ordered several for my family and friends lately and they are amazing.

Im not aware of any Amazon sellers to recommend. However the phone case we are talking about in this thread is for the iphone 5, there is one also availabel for the iphone 4 platform phones as well however of the same design just different size.
If it sounds too cheap then it is a fake!
These cases are being copied a lot and it seems that those who buy cheap report problems with the phones performance.
You get what you pay for with this stuff and if you really need it to protect your phone then don't risk it! Simple really.
That said it is hard to find a trusted supplier outside of the genuine Lunatik company itself and to buy a $99 case (iPhone 4s) from them costs $27.99 to ship from the USA to the UK, and then customs etc upon delivery which just cost me another $40 at the doorstep!!! so $67 to deliver a $99 case!
I work outdoors as a ranger and so really need a case that i can trust so actually i am content that i at least got the genuine article and that it will protect my phone. Loving the anti-smudge screen already as it works really well (much better than survivor screen) and the phone case feels incredibly robust. It makes the phone heavier and bulkier, but again that is great coz i can feel it in my pocket at all times so won't lose it, especially as i have put a lanyard on it!
