Speaking impartially, even the LG G2 is better than the iPhone 6. KnockON, rear controls, large display - and then there is the G3. Not to mention, the Sony Xperia Z2, that is sexy, waterproof, has a built in FM Radio (useful when offline), a great screen, camera shutter release button, NFC etc. HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5 also come to mind.!
Apple appear to have run out of ideas. They have launched a dumbed down slower iMac and done the same with the iPod Touch, which is Tim's way of dumping unsold stock of specific components. OK, wise, but where is the ground breaking? Where's the touch screen iMac or OS X tablet for artists or affordable compact (old style) Mac Mini for small businesses? Etc.
Be brave!
Too early, Apple. Cannot yet justify another one.
My interest in new iPhones plateaued after the 4S, which is still my daily driver.
just remember that you're not going to buy it, as you clearly stated 11 months ago in your 8th post Aug 29, 2013, 12:25 PM
<snip> at least hear users and allowed 3rd party keybords (main reason I ve an HTC M8 is SwiftKey gesture KBD, by far the best on android phone, only reason I didnt uprade to iPhone 5 from 4S).
<snip>
These new iPhones are going to sell like nothing we've seen before with severe shortages for many months.
BREAKING: last minute leak on the Next iPhone (just verified by reliable sources):
Multiple sources pointout the next iPhone Will be capable to make Calls, not olnly that, some other sources also analized leaked material that suggest the next iPhone also will be fully capable to RING when receivin a call....
WOW!!!
Holy Steve Jobs!
Yes, when I moved to android the iPhone5 just appear, thanks to iOS 8 and the 4.7" iPhone "6" I'm sure to get back to full Apple realm.Did you watch the Keynote from WWDC? Or read anything about it? iOS 8 will support third party keyboards.

The iPhone5 never appealed me, and the easy fast typing of gesture kbd simple did the engage.
What worries me about this post is that they are already having troubles with battery life. Unless they have a major breakthrough of some sort... I think we can all pretty much expect mediocre to bad battery life at best with these new phones... As if the iPhone 5's battery wasn't bad enough...
So you posted a comment in a discussion thread, that by your own admission no "normal person" would reply to. Seems rather asinine don't you think? My comment seems to have hurt your feelings, so apparently what I was saying was the truth? You see, a normal person wouldn't have replied at all to this but you had to come up with something, something cool of course, such as: "Cool story, nerd!" to clearly show that others are the nerds, and not you.
He probably just did a quick Google search on macrumors. Is anyone else creeped out by this? Are you watching him through his bedroom window too? Yikes!
From what I've read on here a lot of users want 128, personally all I need is 16gb. If they only offer 3 models they should go 32/64/128, but I'd prefer 4 models at 16/32/64/128.Apple, for the love of God, DO NOT RELEASE A 16gb IPhone!!!
32gb needs to be the minimum size, do not insult all of us by releasing your flagship phone with the same onboard storage as iPhones which are several generation old!
No, I'm actually optimistic this will be one of the biggest improvements. The iPhone has consistently had some of the best "pound for pound" battery life. By making the phone larger, it can reap some of the benefits of having a larger battery (without an equivalent larger drain on battery power). Notice the bigger the iOS devices are in the product line, the longer the battery life (even though the screen gets bigger, sometimes the CPU/GPU gets faster, etc).

Wrong. The iPhone 4s battery demolishes the iPhone 5 battery.

Yet Another blog finalist on the Lame iPhone Leak World Cup...
READ THIS PLEASE:
There Will not be such thing as a 5.5" iPhone, will be a 5.5" iPod Touch (or whatever is named but the 5.5" device not a Phone PERIOD).
Will NOT BE A 4.7" iPod Touch (this is my Lame Leak Contribution, derivative from my previous leak).
Of Course is very probable the new iPhone to have a new Moniker as " new iPhone" "iPhone air" (personally iDoubt it bill be named iPhone Air, but iPhone Pro, iPhone Plus may have more sense.
