T-Mobile may not be that hot in the United States, but overseas, in quite a bit of Europe, it could very well be considered the best. (Barring UK)

It sort of depends where you live. I live 15 mins from central London and T-Mobile offer full 3G signal in my house, 5 bars. Vodafone, O2 & Orange all claim to offer a good 3G signal in my area but none of them do. I do get a good signal with Vodafone but thats only with the help of a Vodafone Gateway femtocell.

At Christmas I was at my husbands parents home, which is in a small village, 50 miles from London.
T-Mobile no signal inside but some 2 & 3G signal outside.
Orange 1 bar of 3G that was useless as it kept going to no signal inside.
Vodafone no 3G but 3 bars of 2G both inside and out
(I did not have an O2 sim with me)

As I have said it all comes down to where you live!

maybe they will make an announcement at the upcoming wwdc? wishful thinking i think for me

Hmm... Fake I think. I have sold a ton of iPhones for Rogers and Fido and none of they actually have company logos on the box or a security sticker. and yes i'm talking about refurb boxes too.

at&t iPhones have the ATT logo on the box there. At least it was there on my 2G iPhone.

Security stickers... some carriers do that some don't. I don't think he would have put a fake sticker to make it look more real.

Same in the UK, o2 had their logo on the box for
the first iPhone not sure about the 3G or 3GS.

If the security sticker was added to make it look
real would they not of made sure that they put
the two halts of the box back together correctly? If
you look at the picture the main part of the security
sticker is on the bottom right of the box. The rest of
it is on the top left.

Do all iPhones not come with a plastic film sealing the box. If
so why would there be a security sticker?

WTF guys!? This is news to you????

I knew about this about a month or so ago. We have it here in Thailand. Yeah, first time I saw it I was like "wtf... I didn't know Apple had an 8GB iPhone 3gs" but apparently, they slipped one in.

http://www.truemove.com/iphone/eng/index.htm

Look at the bottom-right ad. 8GB iPhone 3gs. This is the same carrier/company that I got my 32GB iPhone 3Gs from. So no bull here. No big deal either.

Happy 2010 everyone.

BTW... THB 18,900 is US$567.40 or EU393.86. This is a carrier-unlocked phone with all the stuff open though -- that means you can use it on any carrier you want - no need to worry about having to use UltraSnow or any of those tools. The current models however need to be tethered to a computer to boot jailbroken though. Oh, and you have Internet Tethering and MMS enabled too... just some of the things we take for granted here in the Land of Smiley Thais.
That's the 3G, not the 3GS. There is no such thing as an 8GB 3GS.

hope it will be an unlocked version of the iphone which can be shipped internationally with a good price! in my country (lebanon) iphone isn't officially released , like people over here are buying the iphone and unlocking it. the iphone costs like 600$-1000+$ that's really allot !! anyway apple's product prices over here is like much more then the U.S ! i got the ipod nano 5G last week for 240 $ haha.. almost more then an itouch in the U.S !! :apple:

It exists

Here in Portugal after a merging of two companies (Clix and Optimus), the monday begins an offer for a 8gb 3GS for 149€.
