Erm... What are these new reputation things by each person's post?

Other forums have different 'reputation' systems... see a post you like, then you add to a member's reputation, somethin' like that.

The icon is between the status 'dot' icon and the 'report a post' icon; under your location.

Hmm, cleared the cashe and I'm still not seeing anything. Either way, I've seen that on other forums but it always ends up with one two people who dont like each other giving each other HORRIBLE rep. Maybe it will be more civil around here?

Is anyone else getting a green dot in their User Profile too? It's named reputation_pos.gif so I'm guessing it's related.

I just emptied the cashe again and then quit Safari and still nothing. I do have a green dot to the far right in my profile though, but it says "bursty is off the scale" ....?

nevermind - i think i found it. in the members list, there's now a reputation column with a little square - i'm thinking these are color-coded to show postive or negative reputation, non?

They're scales.

And if you click on the scales next to one of your own posts, it should tell you how many points you have.

This could potentially be a pretty useful feature. It's always nice to know if advice has worked or not.
