Retina icons for normal apps!!!

I went ahead and followed the OP's instructions for the rest of my apps, and my phone looks so much better now.
 
anybody kno what the icon file for QUANP is?

I've tried changing almost every .png file in the quanp folder, and still can't seem to get the hi-res version..

ANy help? lol

Yeah that's pretty much it, but you can use iPhone explorer which is free instead of paying for diskaid. Also get iFile off of Cydia, it's pretty much a must have app if you're jailbroken and it'll tell you what all of those folders are without having to go through each one. I know I have repeated myself a million times in this thread, but it really does make life easier lol.

Also, when I resize I use Preview app on OSX and I set it to 114x114 and it has an option to pick the pixels/inch and the default is 72. I change that value to 326 which matches the retina display. I don't know if it makes a difference, but it pleases my OCD lol.

Even easier, just use AppLinks from Cydia, saves all the mucking about with ifile as you do it all from your pc in winscp.
See below, all apps show in one folder, click on the one you want to be taken directly to the apps folder, simples!

Download AppLinks from Cydia:

Open AppLinks and click refresh to build your app list:

The result? super easy to find your app folders!

I remember AppLinks hehe. I had it installed on my 3G for a long time. I hardly ever used to use it though so I forgot about it. Yeah that works too. :)
 
How would one create an icon for a JB App? I've been trying to find the artwork for iBlacklist to create an icon for that but have been unsuccessful.

i ended up having to make my own icons for jb apps.

I hated the Make It Mine icon, so I used the Cydia icon as a template, and then created my own for Make it Mine (just to see how it'd come out).

Worked out pretty good, i'll post up the icon when I get home later today.

I'm sorry if I missed it and that this is tangential to the thread, but did anyone share the name of this SBSettings theme here?
 
here are a few i did. some of the edges look a little rough in the preview but they look great on the phone. each icon is in a folder so i could leave them properly named.

Backgrounds, Flashlight, GV Mobile +, IMDB, PocketMoney Lite, Prowl, Public Radio Tuner, Shoutcast, TWC Max, and XBMC Remote

Once you copied over your folder called "..." did they automatically know which icons to replace or do I have to copy and paste each icon into the specific app folder? Thanks for your help.
 
For some reason some of the icon i've downloaded from here are slightly smaller than others. Does anyone have a step by step tutorial on how I can change the sizes so they are all identical?

Icon for Backgrounder and Terminal

Anyone have a retinal icon for backgrounder or mobile terminal to share?
