Which MagSafe pop sockets are recommended, may be a nice option to use when at home?
The official 1 on the website is £29. Tired to order it on Amazon but it was delivery in 2 weeks.

ordered a MagSafe plate and then a cheap £6.99 pop socket that sticks to it. Overall came to about £22

Each to their own, I swapped from a 12 to a 12 max 6 months ago, wouldn't go smaller ever, my wife has it now and I have a 13 max.

I was planning to go with the 13 Pro max from the iPhone 11; However, I opted for the 13 Pro, and glad I did.

Not sure if it's because of the boxy design of the pro from the curved corners of the iPhone 11, but the 13 Pro feels a lot better to use than the 11 and I can use the phone one-handed much better as well. I think if I went with the Pro Max, I would be forced to use the phone with 2 hands, which would be a pain in the butt for me.

BTW, the Sapphire Blue color is awesome. Kinda looks like icy blue as well.

Update, pop sockets not. You know. Lol

I am finding this today actually. I have small hands but love a bigger phone (actually this is as high as I want to go). My solution is phone rings, poo sockets, or my fave, loopy cases. This is how I handled the 11PM. The upside is a new phone and maybe some toned arms

I had the 12 Pro. It already felt a bit heavy where I held it like a two handed phone. What I remember was how cramped the screen experience was even though it was 6.1in. (The pixel resolution is different where the XR/11 6.1 and 6.5/6.7in sizes have the Plus-type format, landscape mode, and a bigger keyboard). The iPhone 12/12 Pro is a bigger 5.8 experience, which was just a taller 4.7in experience.

The Max still feel comfortable in one hand because it’s flat. It can feel heavy, but the user experience is much nicer and more accessible in how I use it.

I went from 11 Pro to 13 Pro Max, and the screen size is a trade off for sure… very nice to have larger screen for content consumption, but somewhat cumbersome to hold. I went up to the Max because I agonized for two years with the 11 Pro wondering if I had made the wrong choice. So far, I am enjoying the Max despite the large size and somewhat cumbersome form factor.

If the rumors of titanium are true, then it could. We'll see.
The major part are two pieces of glasses on the phone, one for screen and the other at the back for ONLY wireless charging. If apple shrink that we might have a chance.

But yeah, we will see.

Titanium next year is the speculation…now that would be sweet…lighter and stronger
just the frame could be titanium, so not so much lighter, in case they keep the size..if they go even bigger, or with bigger battery, then the weight could be the same

I’ve decided I’m going to return my 13 Pro Max.

I was thinking for weeks if I should upgrade my X to the PM as the X was the perfect size phone for me. However, I was convinced I’d loved the screen size for watching and web browsing etc.

However, I’ve now had an achy hand for 2 days!haha

Will be returning this and purchasing a 13 Pro when they become available, or I’ll just order and wait the 4-5 weeks for delivery. :(

The Pro Max range is definitely not for everyone indeed, you really pay for that extra screen real estate and bigger battery in weight.

Some of us love the heft of it all, but I think for most people it does get a bit much.

At least you tried it and now know what suits your usage now.

My iPhone is used mainly as a pocketable media consumption device. Love the bigger screen and better battery life.

I have my Apple Watch and AirPods Pro for quick tasks, such as checking notifications and making/answering calls.

I opened the box and thought I’d made a mistake getting the Max this year but with a Pop Socket I’m finding it quite manageable. I know on my next long trip I’ll be delighted to have the big screen and battery.

I want a even bigger pro max, 7.2” please apple, while you’re at it throw in a 6000 mAh battery.

Apple need to go the full hog with Pro Max, they are still being conservative, I think it’s due to Stainless Steel adding a lot of heft.

Maybe when they move to Titanium on iPhones they’ll be able to be a little more open to larger components like bigger batteries.

Hopefully 🙏 then when the hardware is ready for them to release a 8” foldable, no crease and weak screen, I’ll be all over that
2-1 device, best of both iOS and iPadOS in your pocket 👌

My problem isn't the weight (sure could be lighter) but the width. Why is the Pro Max always so wide compared to all the other big phones out there? The 11 Pro Max was already very wide but the 13 Pro Max is even wider and with it's straight edges, it's even more uncomfortable to hold.

The big phones of Samsung, Xiaomi, etc are all easier to hold because they aren't as wide. Maybe I just need bigger hands (188cm tall though).
