I’ve decided I’m going to return my 13 Pro Max.

I was thinking for weeks if I should upgrade my X to the PM as the X was the perfect size phone for me. However, I was convinced I’d loved the screen size for watching and web browsing etc.

However, I’ve now had an achy hand for 2 days!haha

Will be returning this and purchasing a 13 Pro when they become available, or I’ll just order and wait the 4-5 weeks for delivery. :(

Popeye forearms ;)

honestly the Pro Max is far too big unless you have massive Icelander Strong-man competition grips! For that size for us normal people an iPad Mini suffices.

The Pro will suit your needs.

Yo, my hand hurt last night. I sent that phone back today haha.

Back to the iPhone 11 until the refund comes in, and a 13 Pro becomes available!

I tried the 8+ and returned it due to the size. The first Max sized phone I got and kept was the 11 PM. I haven't looked back since, the positives far outweigh the negative of this phone (only negative is the size). I have fairly long fingers and still found myself using two hands to text, etc., on the smaller 5.8" and 6.1" Pro. So may as well go Max. I wear Levi's regular straight fit jeans, no issues carrying the phone in the front pocket.

The 13 PM has the best speakers I've ever heard on an iPhone. I like having the largest capacity battery I can get. My wife and I spend time in three cities regularly now, and I don't like and have no use for an iPad. My setup has always been phone + laptop. I can log in remotely to my office on the Pro Max which is amazing in and of itself, and the screen size helps. Movies, media, occasional Mario Kart Tour, MLB season package, NFL Sunday Ticket streaming...all on one device.

Thoughts on 8+ vs 13 Pro Max ergonomics/weight/size?

This is probably duh but I changed my case and it feels lighter now. In any case, I would probably miss it if I returned it so it’s mine. For at least a year anyway.
isisnt the apple leather case one of the lightest options? I dont like the clear magsafe, it looks good, but hurts the hand! soft leather feels good!

I went from the 12 Pro to the 13 Pro Max. The initial shock was like "whoa, this is heavy" but after a couple days it's fine. I am used to it like it's normal now. I think people jump to conclusions quick and don't give it a chance. I'm loving the bigger screen. The 12 Pro was fine but I usually switch back and forth LOL
Same here. Now a few days have passed I don’t even notice the size and weight increase and find the phone every bit as usable as the 12 Pro it replaced.

The 8+ was many moons ago but the Pro Max is a tad taller and heavier. I really enjoy the full screen and lack of huge bezels from the older iPhones. Ergonomics are the same if I recall, it's a two handed device for the most part. I am able to browse Safari and scroll using one hand though.
