It looks cheap, tacky, and ugly.So that's what an Escalade looks like?!
Giving me strong 'cardboard box on wheels' vibes…
But the dashboard does have a touch of the Enterprise bridge to it, so not all bad.

Caddies not known for their gas mileage. An Escalade is the same thing as a Tahoe. Toyota land cruise gets 13mpg city, same difference12.5mpg ? I did not expect it to be great, but still did not imagine it could be so bad...
People who live in countries that don’t get a lot of snow.I'll never understand why a vehicle like that makes 4x4 an optional add-on. Who buys something like that in a two-wheel drive??

Absolutely - get a Tesla Model S Plaid. So they put all this 21st high-tech wizardry into it… and then throw it back into the 20th century with an ICE.
Am amazed any manufacturer is launching such vehicles given the bans most western countries have coming in the near future.
The future is electric.
Subaru uses the new portrait modeWasn't CarPlay supposed to support multiple screens in different aspect ratios (ie portrait orientation) since like iOS 13 or something? I've not yet seen one implementation of it. Some cars handle a nice large or wide resolution, but it's always the single screen with the same aspect ratio. With more and more cars having huge screens and digital instrument clusters, it's way overdue for CarPlay to fully populate that extra real estate.
I don't know if it's a CarPlay thing or the way Honda implements it, but if I'm just chilling in my car and listening to the radio or XM and then switch to social media or something, it automatically switches to the CarPlay input. I guess it sees that there is media playing or may play and it decides that it should take priority. Weird.

Who truly uses the 4X4 capability in a $100,000 Cadillac?I'll never understand why a vehicle like that makes 4x4 an optional add-on. Who buys something like that in a two-wheel drive??
