I just got mine in and I'm very impressed. Now I'm coming from a metallic black glass sp I got from eBay that worked well. I like how it's rounded a bit and the feel of it is smooth as butter. That's whats really impressing me. The screen coverage is pretty much the same but the feel of the screen isn't. I'm pleased. Got the black version for iPhone 6 Plus and my fingers are gliding across the screen as I type this right now. Installation was simple too.

Nice feedback. Post some pics. :)

I have another question about the glass protector.

The speaker and the home button are clearly cut out. How about the camera and the ambient light sensor. Is it a cut out or just transparent glass like for the screen?

Thanks.

Unfortunatly there is no reseller in Europe. I was told I could as well order from amazon.com. But I will have to wait till the product is listed on amazon.com. So far only the white glass 0.2mm for the iPhone 6 Plus is listed which is not shipped abroad yet.

The benks online shop would only have been an option if the price would have been a tiny bit lower, so that I don't have to deal with customs.

Camera and ambient light sensor are clear glass. It didn't affect either.

I also just received my White for the iPhone 6+. Coming from a Zagg I like the coverage of the Benks. My only concern is I cannot use it with my Speck Candyshell Grip. That case has become my new favorite and the Benks Glass is just too big for it. For that reason only, I will stick with the Zagg. I am glad I gave it a try. If I only use one case, I think the Protector would be fine, but I like to mix up my cases, so for me it will not work.

Same here with my CS Grip.

Aggressive fitting cases don't seem to like this protector. My review also mentioned the ZooGue case didn't work, but snsking (his review) said that my install may be a smidge off. He's waiting for his ZooGue to test.

I'll be reviewing Benks case friendly 0.15 mm protector next week. This thing is super thin, when compared to the 0.30 mm+ protectors.

Updating this thread. I'll update the first post with this information.

snsking sent me a message confirming that his ZooGue case worked with this protector. Talking with him, he thinks my install could have been off ever so slightly.

This is snsking's thread here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1854843/

I'm sure he'll eventually post pics with the ZooGue and Unique pro installed.

So I've got a black 6+ with a few Magpuls and I've always been jealous of the white iPhones and kind of regreted not getting one. Does anyone have an opinion on using the white Benks to change the color of the iPhone? Obviously the home button would still be black, which might look kind of cool. I'd be using with a Magpul so I think the sides would be pretty well covered. Since the Benks are reusable, I could conceivably switch to a black Benks when I want to go back to black.
Any thoughts?

Hi Travis,

Benks sent me a few pics with a white protector installed on a black phone. I posted them in another thread awhile ago. Check them out. Hope this helps!

Let me preface this review by saying Benks provided me with this sample. Having said that, I will give my honest review and observations of the Benks Unique Pro glass screen protector.

Let's start with the packaging. It's professionally packaged and has everything you need to install your glass protector. The Benks Unique Pro is super thin at 0.20 mm. You can actually bend this glass in your hands and unlike thicker glass protectors, it adds very little noticeable bulk.

Color match is superb. I was extremely pleased how well the color matched the phone. The white portion of the protector has an almost transparent look to it. I think this helps with the color matching. That was very clever on Benks part.

In regards to the installation. I will note the corners around the screen took time to fully adhere, initially leaving a mark in the corners of the screen. One corner seemed to take a little longer than the others. I just checked it after a couple of hours and it's all clear now.

The Benks Unique Pro, I installed, does not leave the outline around the screen you see on some edge-to-edge protectors. This is a real positive. It makes the final install more precise and once installed, it's crystal clear. When you feel like there's no protector installed, that's a good thing! :)

ImageImageImage

According to Benks, the white protectors are revised versions that address the screen outline. Having said that, Benks is having issues making the revised black protectors available. They need to address this, as some folks won't buy with the outline present. The outline won't affect anything, other than the look when the screen is off.

In regards to feel. The screen has a high quality and smooth feel. It appears to repel fingerprints and smudges very well. The protector does not interfere with the touch screen, auto brightness or the front facing camera.

Once installed, you can feel the edges of the protector around the perimeter of the phone. The edges might be susceptible to attracting dust. If you're rocking your phone naked, the feel of the edges might not work for you. If you use a case that functions with the Unique Pro, this shouldn't be an issue.

Image

In regards to case compatibility. I tested three cases with this protector. My Magpul Field Case, ZooGue Social Pro and CandyShell Grip. The CandyShell and ZooGue did not work. The Magpul worked perfectly.

Image

The CandyShell and ZooGue have raised edges that sit inwards toward the screen, so they both wanted to lift the protector. The Magpul's lip has a little more relief and the lip doesn't sit inward. I would say this protector will work with cases that aren't a tighter fit around the lip and that extend inwards.

I tried my cases a few minutes after install, so maybe I'll try again after the screen protector fully cures. I'm not sure if the outcome will be any different?

**UPDATE**

In regards to the ZooGue case, it most probably will work with this protector. This was confirmed by snsking. Please see my post here:

Overall, I would give the Benks Unique Pro a solid very good to excellent rating.

I highly recommend it because, it's super thin, it installs easily, it adheres without issue and it provides excellent edge-to-edge protection. It just looks great installed. Benks seems genuinely excited about this product. They also seem committed to improving it. Those are positives as well.

You can check out the Unique Pro here: http://www.benks.us

Pros

Easy install
Super thin - 0.20 mm
Adds very little bulk
Full screen protection
Excellent color match

Cons

Might attract dust on edges
Won't function with all cases

Your images are excellent. What did you use in taking those pictures?

Is Benks a U.S. Brand? It has been available for quite some time in China and they are priced lower for the 0.2mm

I was hoping to get the revised version for a black 6 Plus, but they are out of stock. The website says they expected new stock last week so maybe they'll get stock soon. However, Amazon has them in stock, but should I assume that the ones on Amazon are not the revised version and will have the lines around the border?

Yes I would.

Good morning! Luckily I've read this topic, because I would like to buy the unique pro 0.20mm black for my iphone 6 but you said that the black one has the horrendous edges white on the screen.
Does Benks have solved this problem with another version? Thank you

ps: actually this product isn't available on the official website.
I found this http://www.amazon.com/iPhone-Unique..._1_4?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1429093207&sr=1-4.

do you know if this is the new version without white border line on the screen?

Wait for it to become available on their website, so you can be sure that it has no outline.

If I buy it in their official website, does they send it in Italy?

I'm not sure about international shipping. Contact them directly via e-mail.

I have a couple of e-mails into them about the black stock without the outline, but haven't heard back.

The one I purchased is flat. There is not curve at the edge and your pictures seem to show that it is flat as well.

Am I missing something?
