Removal of front film

Hello!

I purchased the iPhone 6 Unique PRO Benks glass screen protector and have applied it to my iPhone. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to remove the front protective film on the screen protector using the sticky tab...

Does anyone have any tips, please?

Thanks

Front protective film? When I installed it, there was only one tab.

UK Shipping

Has anyone had a reply as to when the black will be in stock without the white line? Also if it will be stocked on amazon?

Would really like one to be shipped to the UK. Cannot find any good alternatives to this that I could purchase instead.

Yeah what's the deal here, they were estimating stock two weeks ago?

BTW are the edges (underneath side) not curved on this? Saw the new Cinder discussion thread and looked at the comparison on the Cinder site which is probably the best diagram of a curved edge protector vs a flat edge protector.

Just received mine from Amazon and it has the white edge.

I've tried to contact Benks, without success. I'm not sure what's going on.

I don't understand why they would have the colored part on top and bottom. Why not just make it all transparent? Feels a bit less elegant with the color bars.

I read on here that the curved parts of the screen have very slight irregularities that differ from phone to phone which will cause visible imperfections through clear glass, but will not be noticeable through colored glass.

It's been shown that full coverage glass protectors without the colored frame have a very visible halo effect caused by where the screen protector lifts off the curved edge of the phone.

I found that it's easier to live with the halo effect on a white faced phone.

[Review] Benks Unique PRO 0.20 mm Glass Screen Protector (Revised Version)

Does anyone have news about the stock of the benks unique pro 0.20 black for iPhone 6 on their official website? They said 10.04.15 ...

On Amazon they have this article but I don't know if it is without the white border on the display and I would like to buy on the official website

I have this in the white version and it is an awesome protector. I know the Cinder curve is an alternative that will be coming out. They try to show competitors with gaps and areas to collect dust underneath the protector. Also, they show that their protector has a curve to it. What the photo doesn't show is more coverage than the Benks - just a top curve.

My Benks Pro is perfect for me in every way.

- Covers edge to edge with only tiny space (someone else described it as 2 hairs) between the protector and my Apple silicone case
- Super thin - don't even know it's there
- Cut outs are perfectly aligned
- White color is a perfect match
- Feels great
- Have not experienced any dust collecting at the edges as my edges are sitting flat and adhered against the screen. I have no gaps.

Another poster asked about the white edges taking away from the elegance of the phone. I initially thought the same thing but figured I'd give it a try anyway. The color match is so spot on that you don't even notice it. The only hint of a screen protector is the clear hole over the proximity sensor.

I see that from many posts this protector for the black phones has the line around the screen and that would truly be a deal breaker for me if I had a black phone. But the white version has been perfect for me in every way.

After trying many screen protectors - this is the one for me.

if you don't care about edge to edge maxboost has the best one. Only 8.99 and its thinner than OP post. I believe benks has the regular one for ridiculously higher price..

So the black Benks pro has now disappeared from there website, doesn't look like we will be getting the new version in stock after all. Need a good alternative.

I just got and applied my Benks 0.2mm in black. The old version with the bright outline. Nice flat piece of glass. Problem is, the outlines on the left and right are shown INSIDE the display area of the phone. I thought the reason to get a full edge-to-edge protector is to avoid that.
I'll leave this on for now, since it's better than the SPIGEN curved plastic. Waiting for the next new thing.

...

What do you exactly mean by that? Could you make a picture?
Or do you just refer to the issue which is known for the old black version (lines on the outside when screen is off)?

PS: Did anyone test the benks 0.2 yet with the SPIGEN iPhone 6 Case Ultra Hybrid (4.7)?

Are you familiar with the rainbow lines that show up when when using a screen protector that is a bit narrower than the screen? It looks exactly like that.
When the screen is off, you see that white line that's well-known for the current (old) version.
When he screen is on, it becomes a slight rainbow line, as I described above.
It will be hard to take a picture.

I wonder why Benks is out of stock right now.. I need a replacement 0.15mm and they are nowhere to be found

Im using the benks 0.20mm with the ultra hyrbid case on my 6. No issues at all...fits perfect.

So when pressing the buttons the sp does not lift at all?
Is the ultra hybrid case's fit snug?
Would you mind uploading a pic or two?

Thank you!!!
