Back when Apple Stores were a joy to go to. Back before AA & Timmy completely demolished what made them so special.....
Once you get past the novelty of early Apple Stores, they are basically the same now but with the obsolete parts, like physical software boxes and iPod speaker docks, removed. And I have plenty of emotional/nostalgic affection for 2007-era Apple Stores as my wife and I met in one and we go back to that store each year on our anniversary.

Are we just looking for reasons to bash him at this point? He helped to turn Apple into a $3 trillion juggernaut. That’s an astounding accomplishment in itself. 🤷‍♂️

Heck, Apple’s retail presence is doing better than ever now, so whatever “bad” changes they made must’ve been a good thing in the long run.

You might want to complain about this woman instead. Tim Cook is just one the one who chose to green light her ideas. I guess we can’t go one news thread without somebody yelling about their own cynical agendas… o_O

Amazing how little the stores have actually changed in design and layout. If it works, don't change it!
Except for removing the cash register. That never quite made any sense to me, and has kept me from going to the store when I need something because its a barrier to making a purchase. I've never had an easy process of buying something from an Apple store.

You still use cash?

Awww. I was at the opening of the 5th ave store... Even snapped a picture of Steve and his wife as they unexpectedly exited out of the FAO Shwarz next door... :)

Best store change Apple has made. Gone are the days of standing in long lines at the front checkout counter in Apple stores.

Instead, if I need something, say a new keyboard, I grab it of a wall and there's always an employee around to accept my credit card or cash. Ditto with a larger purchase, such as a watch/computer (which is brought out front from their store room).

Besides product lines changing, the only _real_ difference I see is that they are much, much busier as a result of Apple's growing fortunes. That's a good problem to have.

A dedicated website, most of virtual tours that I've tried were web based. Navigation would not be as nice and smooth as a dedicated application that said.
I don't think they would've been able to put as much detail in a website.
