Holding off from upgrading to HS, but I installed RoTR on my Bootcamp SSD (Win10 Pro). RoTR runs beautifully - 54 to 64fps @1080p. The GPU sure gets a work out - pretty much at 100% during game play. CPU idles from 6 to 24%. Loving the game already.

I am planning an external boot into HS or Bootcamp. Just need to get around to doing it. I am not going to HS anytime soon, even for this game.

Thanks for the mention. I appreciate it.

has anyone play this game on iMac PRO base model?

How is it on iMac pro? Can i use max graphic settings? Smooth?

Well, to answer my own question...the game works FLAWLESSLY on the HIGHEST graphics settings!!! The game is amazing. Smooth, lag free on my iMac...and noise-free!

It should play smooth as butter on iMac Pro. It’s smooth on my 2017 4k iMac non-pro, so it should fly on a Pro model. It’s also a Metal game, so that helps a ton.

Correct. iMac 2017 4k, the fastest cpu 3.6 GHz quadcore i7, fastest for the 21.5” that is. Even better because I BTO with a 512gb SSD, 16g RAM, Radeon Pro 560 is 4gb vram

I always custom order direct from Apple Online Store

Very nice machine!! I just got my father iMac 21.5 this past weekend (Best Buy sale)...with 3.4Ghz i5 (Radeon Pro 560), 8 RAM, and 1TB Fusion...for $1250. I figured that this will last him a long time...he’s not a gamer at all (just lots of Excel, Outlook stuff), but i made sure that i got him the best GPU available because i am not sure what the future holds down the road...because the newer stuff coming out seems to use GPU a lot.

EDIT: I do think that the 21.5 display (4k) is perfect size. My 27” is kinda big. LOL
