Mine too. I kept erroring out and when it finally came through, those were my dates.

My wife's went through smoothly and she got a 11/3 date. No errors and her store opened early. Mine was late.
 
silver 256 GB for 17th to 24th. should i just hold on to the order and be patient? does apple ever bump up the date? or can I cancel and order on att. they seem to still show delivery on 11/3.

Same exact thing for me. Tried app and website, nothing worked until 10 minutes later. Was done checking out within a minute on my silver phone and got the 17-24 ship date. 5 minutes later ordered the space gray and same date. Makes no sense. Lol
 
Apple.com took 12 minutes to load. Removed the iPhone X from my previous bag. Ordered Tmobile 256GB Silver and got 2-3 weeks shipping at 3:13 am Eastern. WTF
 
Guess I found the right thread. Tried to get the Apple App to connect for 10 minutes before I had successful connection. Took less than a minute to click through and purchase my pre-approved purchase 256GB Silver. Got the Nov. 17-24 shipping date. Oh well, I tried.

That could take a while. My credit card hasn't been charged yet. Apple may not actually charge my card until the phone ships. There may be a pending action, though. I'm not sure how it would work with your gift card.
 
I ordered the moment the store went up in Canada. My favourites bugged out though so I had to manually order. Ship date of 2-3 weeks :-(

Good point. First time I used a gift card to order. Was simple enough. No clue if method of payment makes a difference.

I also wonder how long apple will take to update my order. It just says order placed and I can’t cancel or edit (not that I want to do either).

Should I go to sleep now? Haha

Mine says Order Placed as well. This is normal. Apple's servers are getting slammed right now and any updating will probably come sometime tomorrow.
 
I also had issues getting into the Apple Store app. Finally got in about 3:10 and order placed at 3:11, shipping Nov 17-24. Silver 256 GB.
 
Here, here! 64gb silver with this ship date.

I was ready to go right at 3:01EDT but the app wasn't working. I tried on my iPad in a browser, but it wouldn't let me complete the order because it already knew I had preapplied on my iPhone.

It could definitely be worse!!
