I didn't see the pick up in store, or I would have done that. I got in at around 4 minutes after the hour. Yet some people who ordered after I did say they are getting their phones on release day. I'm with ATT and kind of annoyed that other ATT people ordered after I did and will get their phones on the 3rd.

Same here, first year not able to get launch day. Got Silver 256gb AT&T with Nov 14-27 dates.

There was a MacRumor article yesterday about the Nov 10-17 group getting bumped up to Nov 3rd. Maybe we’ll eventually get bumped up too.
 
I ordered two 64 GB Silver in two single transactions. I too wasted time on the App before switching to my laptop. I think Apple is screwing Tmobile customers ordering direct with Apple. Last two years T-Mobile customers ordering through T-Mobile got screwed. Apple treated T-mobile users ordering on the Apple website as scalpers. I wish they use some customer data and simple AI to at least be able to distinguish between scalpers and loyal repeat Apple product buyers. I was logged in when ordering. I do not want my order coming during thanksgiving because I will be travelling then.i hope we are bumbped up a bit.
 
I opened the app at 3:00 AM and again at 3:01 AM and could not get in whatsoever until 3:08 AM. So a bit frustrated. I am on the Apple Upgrade Program and was pre-approved so the only option was to use the app and not the Apple Store website. Got the order in at around 3:08 AM and got an order delivery date of Nov 17th - Nov 24th.

While I was waiting for the app, I went to the website at around 3:05 AM and just ordered another one full price which is shipping with a delivery date of Nov 3rd.

Both phones T-Mobile GSM 256GB Space Grey.

So not sure what to do now. Not sure if Apple will let me switch out the phones so will probably just return the one that’s shipping on Nov 3rd.

First world problems.

Except that TMobile dates are being bumped up, and ATT is being paid dust. o_O
 
Same here! Ended up refreshing on all sorts of platforms for 10 minutes until I finally got through. It then failed to connect with AT&T so they put me on reserve. Got the reservation email in 4 hours and was able to get my order through.

I ordered a 256GB Silver.

Trouble with app and online. Finally about 15 minutes after launch:
Knowing when we each got the confirmation email should help as they start to go to preparing for shiipment

I'm also in this boat! Except mine is on Verizon. This is the first year I'm not getting a launch day phone. I keep telling myself I'm an adult and that this is fine. Everything is fine.

My Apple Watch alarm failed to wake me so I didn't wake up until 10 past the hour. I logged into the Apple Store on my phone and was able to order a 64GB SG X with a Nov 17-24 estimate. On a whim I decided to try out going to T-Mobile directly and was able to order a 64GB silver with an estimated ship date of 11/2-11/3.

So... the race is on I guess. I plan to keep the first one shipped and cancel the other order. I'm very doubtful my Apple order will arrive at launch and very hopeful that my T-Mobile order will arrive on launch day.
 
Same story for me. App didn't come up till 310 Am. Then went in reservation scenario. Tried att went through but ended up in canceled state.

Got reservation email in morning completed the order and have 17-24 Nov date. First time in years when I may not have a launch day device!

That’s my hope. Also in the same boat: first year I can’t get release day. I figure if there’s going to be any movement on ours it will be by middle of next week. Fingers crossed.

If Apple does bump up Nov. 17-24th orders to earlier shipments, will they go by exact order completion times first? Meaning, somebody who completed their order at 12:09 am will get bumped ahead in line, BEFORE somebody who ordered at 12:14, even though they BOTH have the same 17-24th shipping dates???

That is the way I understand it progresses (of course, dependent upon model, carrier,etc) If someone with the same configuration was even a second ahead, they would be first. IMO

I'd say launch day chances are very low. At best I'm expecting them the week of the 6th sometime. Could be Monday, could be saturday, who knows.
