Do you think that also will be the case for the 7+ 128GB JB, which seems to be the most popular configuration? Have there been similar models that were equally as popular in years past that also moved up their ship dates so dramatically? This is first year I've heard of a phone type so popular it won't be delivered or available in-store on launch day. I've never preordered before.
I do remember my stainless steel Apple Watch shipping info never updated ,showed 1-2 weeks past launch date,and it magically showed up on launch ,profile never updated till later,not saying that'll happen here, but, anything really is possible,either way it is nice to get this hype for something ,just aggravating staying up to preorder only to have issues then a ******** ship date on top....and think we can all do it again in a year
I remember when the Rose Gold came out it was just as popular as Jet Black and I remember seeing people's date being pushed up very quickly so I would assume the same. Apple is has one of the highest customer service around,over shoot and ship date and shipping early would only make the customer happy vs giving a sooner ship date and can't meet the time frame and have a bunch of pissed customers,almost like Bestbuy preorders happening now lol
LOL...I am waiting in this group too...but I also own a pretty good chunk of Apple Stock (APPL)...and I gotta tell ya....I'm absolutely FREAKING loving this... 
Lol. People have been cussing Tim Cook and saying Apple doesn't know what it's doing. But I have to say Tim and Apple know exactly what they're doing. Look at all the forums dedicated to Apple pre-orders. They have built up anticipation to a fever pitch, especially for the plus model (mainly due to the dual cameras exclusive to it), which has received mixed reviews in the past. I may not like the waiting game, but Apple knows exactly what game it's playing and it's a master at it and we're all suckers for playing along. lolLOL...I am waiting in this group too...but I also own a pretty good chunk of Apple Stock (APPL)...and I gotta tell ya....I'm absolutely FREAKING loving this...
I got a payment processed update and **** my pants. Then I realized it was for the watch in the order.
Lol. Well I hear that Apple now has a product especially for people who **** their pants. It's called iShit. It ships in 2 - 3 weeks. Hope you can wait til then.

I just had the same feeling when i checked ups with my phone number and tracking info popped up, but it was for the apple leather case that I ordered.
it should be with no spaces, and i dont think you can change the shipping dates past the current day.
The first batch of JB iPhone 7 plus has gotten their payment charged and were able to track their shipments. Earliest delivery eta I saw on one of their UPS page is September 19th. It's getting closer for us, hopefully by next Monday if no updates during the weekend we will see some movement and on October orders
