Wow. What is Apple thinking? No plusses in their stores but supplying them to carriers' stores. Insane!

They are holding onto them for the Apple Upgade Program.

Anyone who preordered period should get their model before stores get ANY.

I know obligations have to be fulfilled to resellers/carriers, but past that all preorders should come first, otherwise, what is the point of preordering.

This would stop the lineup outside the store stupidity for the most part as well, maybe.

The real solution would be prepare for the freaking week 1 demand.

I've been saying this for years.

I'm still showing 10/4-10/10 for an AT&T 7+ 256gb

Yeah. I think it has tied to the block you are in an specific model rather than the order date. However for the specific 10/4 block. Several days got the same delivery order so probably in that scenario that will matter a bit

If this is like the 6 with me, we should see shipping by tomorrow or Saturday. Unless Apple really screwed the pooch this time!

I'm in the 10/4-10/10 group for a Black 7+ 128GB. I ordered on launch day at 3:15AM EST and there has been no change in my order.

That guy is a liar. It's a known fact that Apple Stores get the most quantity. If Apple came out and said no pluses in stores, there are no pluses in carrier stores either. Don't listen to him, he is trolling.

Apple said there are no pluses for pre-orders. There are people in line RIGHT NOW who have proven that AT&T has pluses. No jet or matte black though.

I read the article and it says carrier stock may vary. And sorry, there's more than one person in different states claiming the same thing. It's you that is wrong. And again, it says for walk ins. I verified with Apple Store management.

Actually there are no pluses AT ALL at the Apple Store my friend works at. His team got a memo today about it. Going to suck for them cause they have the pleasure of telling people that they don't have the phone they really want.

Apple diverted the 7+ inventory to the pre orders. Other retailers will have limited quanity but apple will have zero on launch day for the 7+

That's what that press release is saying if you read it.

a guy I used to work with is a manager at ATT (in Arkansas) and said they should all have 10-15 pluses in each color and storage. If you want to try getting there early you may get one! I would but I have to work

1. It will come. Even Apple is suggesting people to preorder as the fastest way to get it. And our orders are one week old and new ones get October 10 date. I would bet that early next week at the latest we get preparing for shipment

I'm thinking that is worse case scenario. I've had a 2-3 week window before with the 6, mine shipped Saturday after launch. They pump these things out pretty quick.

Agreed,Thats why im not sweating it,Apple has always over shooted delivery dates to cover themselves.
