They must really have concerns with this container lol I think this same group also had a security delay in ZhengZhou which pushed delivery back by a day already.
Security concerns over one iPhone container of several shipping every day. Wtf is up with that. If it was Note 7's, ok I would buy that.....but iPhones?

Who all is still Preparing for Shipment? If so, what model. I'm thinking the ATT Black Plus in 128 is causing grief for all of us. :)

I hope that's the case as I'm in CA but I haven't seen anyone post about coming from Ontario.
I thought most international air shipments had to go through UPS Worldport in Louisville which is their primary intl sorting facility. Other posters have also shown that the Import scan/customs occurs in Louisville

Just got off the phone with a UPS supervisor who was surprisingly helpful. Here's what he said about my shipment (I'm in the China-Korea-China-Korea loop group with my last update being (re)arrival at Incheon 09/21/2016 8:01 P.M.):

-None of these packages are being scanned individually overseas - only the containers are being scanned

-The container holding my package (along with 2 to 3 thousand other packages) was detained for a security screening. Normally with pre-paid shipments such as these, security screenings aren't done, but one was done on this container for whatever reason.

-Because individual packages are not scanned at this stage, it is possible that the tracking system isn't accurately reflecting the status of the package. To wit - my container may well have departed Korea earlier today or yesterday even though no departure scan is showing in my tracking update.

-I will likely not see any further updates until my container has cleared US customs and my package has been scanned.

-My package will likely be routed through KY before coming to SoCal, and the normal turnaround time from KY to SoCal is 1 day, such that it would be delivered to me in SoCal the day after it arrives in KY.

-My phone is probably already on route from Korea to the US, or is already in the US but has just not yet cleared customs, and as such I should receive it Friday.

-If I want more information regarding what happened overseas, I would have to call international shipping cserv because they have access to more information than domestic shipping cserv.

I received similar info about not seeing updates until it hits the states. I was told that it was going to Louisville and then to me tomorrow in NYC. Hopefully it doesn't go to Louisville and then get another exception because they have too many packages to get out. I would hope to have it tomorrow, but figuring on Friday at worst.

If you are happy to get your iPhone whenever, I'm not sure I understand why you are on this thread which is dedicated to people tracking their pre-orders with these specific original delivery dates through every part of the process. This would seem pretty boring to you if you're not into it. Kinda why I don't watch golf on television. Lol
You completely misunderstand what I was talking about, please reread the thread I replied to.

Checking back in to provide another data point. Just got an email from UPS re-informing me that my package is slated for delivery tomorrow.

Not sure if I believe it considering my last scan was 1:05 AM arrival in ZZ, but alas, UPS seems adamant I'm getting it tomorrow, so who am I to say....

That's the one I'm waiting for very impatiently. I've given up hope in getting it this week for sure. I've contacted Apple support every day to tell them how disappointed I am that customers who ordered a jet black that were originally quoted a november ship date are receiving their phone this week and I'm still sitting here preparing for shipment since Saturday. They didn't care and told me I was basically nuts.

A lot of these responses are strange to me. People are using the word "stuck" regarding their package and blaming UPS for all sorts of things.

People. If you're getting your phone before 10/04, it's early. Be happy.
One thing has nothing to do with the other. Most of us ordered our phones within 20 minutes of store going live. Getting Oct 4th - 10th dates was ridiculous. Once we got shipping notices many of us took that day off for delivery. Giving us little or inaccurate information is unacceptable and the fact that we may get it before Oct has nothing to do with UPS and/or Apple screwing up.

This is great. I still hope we get our phones by Friday. I've seen one of mine in the past be in China until the day before delivery, then it all changed on the UPS page and showed KY, then AK, then out for delivery in Hawaii. This Friday, next Monday, still better than 10/4-10/10!

Looking at the Google Doc sheet, it seems there are two big batches that are being delayed. The 8:01 PM, and the 1:05 AM group. Most are estimated to arrive either on the 23rd or the 26th. If there are no alerts by tomorrow afternoon, it's probably safe to say we wont be getting them until Monday

I am, although I ordered a Jet Black 128GB Plus for Verizon (Apple.com of course). PFS since Saturday at 7am PDT.
