One thing has nothing to do with the other. Most of us ordered our phones within 20 minutes of store going live. Getting Oct 4th - 10th dates was ridiculous. Once we got shipping notices many of us took that day off for delivery. Giving us little or inaccurate information is unacceptable and the fact that we may get it before Oct has nothing to do with UPS and/or Apple screwing up.

The 10/4-10/10 was a joke to begin with! Like you said, most of us ordered within the first 20 min. And yes, I also had to change things around too. Having phone shipped to a family members house (because I was gone on launch day). I have always pre-ordered when the clock strikes midnight (PST) and gotten it on launch. This whole thing has been a nightmare! And now that they are shipping...the nightmare continues :)

Of course it is!!! UPS can't f*&K this up any more than they already have....good grief!
Flight 99 just landed in Anchorage a minute ago. Let's hope it gets through customs and sent to Louisville ASAP. Let's also hope our phones are on it.
Someone said Customs doesn't come until Louisville. The negative is that could mean no UPS scans in Anchorage (not until Louisville), but the positive is that our iPhones will be ready to depart Anchorage sooner!

For those of you more versed with this than I, could the flights coming from Shenzhen to Anchorage be carrying iPhones for those of us waiting in the PFS stage?

For example, UPS77 which is set to land in about 3 hours from now: https://nl.flightaware.com/live/iphone

I just finished talking to the special ups Apple agent and she said that my phone is due to be delivered on Friday.... FFFFFff

I think this reroute fiasco will translate to a day later for a lot of us, but for some that means a day earlier than the original quote or delivered on the day we were quoted (Apple original quote). Without what appears to be a hold up/screw up, we would have all see them a day or two sooner. Tensions are high because nobody wants to wait another day or god forbid the weekend, and trust me, I would be even more anxious if I saw an original UPS expected delivery of Friday (mine was today). I put my pre-signed form outside today all day just in case it was Out for Delivery. Looks like I will be doing the same tomorrow.

Those of us in Incheon at 8:01PM, please let us know when you receive notice of it being ready for pick up at Customer Center if you set it to be delivered that way. Might be an indication they are here before Out for Delivery is updated for us when they are stateside.

Well so is mine....I am hoping it came in on the plane that just arrived in AK. *crossing fingers* Assuming we won't see any updates until later tho?!
It would make "sense" for them to just leave our phones on UPS99 (assuming they're on it) since it also flies to Louisville in 2 hours and 18 minutes. It is scheduled to arrive in Louisville at 1:26 a.m. (12:26 a.m.CST - my time zone). Fingers crosssed I wake up to good news tomorrow morning.

Another interesting thing to note, I have only received updates from UPS early morning everyday, good or bad. Always between 8am-9am.

Darn. I was so excited by an email verizon sent me saying something big is happening on your account. I thought they was finally going to charge me for my phone, but no, all the email was saying was to buy a new iPhone 6s.

Which is why they clear customs in Louisville

I received the dreaded no information available update last night between midnight and 4am central time. Then of course the departing China and arriving in Korea at 8:01pm this morning around 7am or so.

I don't think that would make any sense for the shipments going to the western United States... wouldn't they go on separate flights?

Some westbound packages apparently do go thru Ontario (California).

Just got this one on one of my two phones.
