I just spoke to a live agent at UPS. Hadn't plannned on it, but the automated system kept transcribing my tracking number wrong. First live agent ended up transferrring me to another "special agent" assigned by Apple(?) to deal with iPhone issues. She said the usual party line stuff (keep checking the UPS website, updates will occur once it stateside...), but she did agree off-the-record that she has seen others with missed scans show up stateside and that is probably what happened with my missing departure scan in Incheon this morning. I'll know more once next batch of flights from Anchorage land in Louisville. I'll either have an arrival scan there or a departure scan from Incheon a few after that in the morning. At this point, I just want a reliable way of knowing where my phone is and when it will arrive.
this is exactly correct. 8:01pm Korea's will either somehow bizarrely endup in Louisville tonight or leave Korea early thursday morning, with friday delivery. logistical disaster that we've been sitting there for days.

Who all is still Preparing for Shipment? If so, what model. I'm thinking the ATT Black Plus in 128 is causing grief for all of us. :)

I have a Verizon 128 matte black plus, still preparing to ship since Saturday.

I almost wonder if UPS, in their haste to get these things out, scanned the first and last pallets of the 8:01 scans. Hence why some are showing scanned and some are not.
Similarly, we won't see a scan in Anchorage because they aren't changing planes.

Just hypothesizing, but makes sense.

I just want to know if I am working from home on Friday or going in, ugh. Hopefully overnight and tomorrow morning I'll see some UPS updates. Apple.com still has estimated delivery on the 23rd, but UPS has their thumb up their rears and I have "scheduled delivery information unavailable" - despite having paid for the 2hr delivery window Friday. Super frustrating.

Not sure I want to go through this on the iUP next year. This was just a fiasco.

Exact same boat. Also paid for a 2-hour delivery window. Originally said 9/22, then said 9/23 and now it's "unknown"!

That could possibly be what it is. I've seen it done before when I worked in a warehouse. Especially since people were saying supervisors had a phone conference about this screw up.

We shall see! UPS website/App tells me my delivery date is unknown, but Automated phone support says tomorrow. Who knows?!?!
Same as my situation. No date unless I call automated system or speak to rep. Quick question, looks like flight 99 is delayed from Alaska to Louisville. Should get there at 1:26am at this point (about 45 minutes late). I live in NYC. How would I find out what flight my iPhone would be on to track it so I can see if I will get delivery tomorrow. Unless they are driving from Louisville to NYC. Then I'll never get this phone. Lol. Thanks.

It would explain why some are seeing scans and some aren't. I have no warehouse/logistics experience. But I definitely know cutting corners.

It would also make sense that we would see scans in Louisville because that's where UPS individually distributes. So they would have to scan individually.

At any rate, the picture should be a lot clearer around 1:30am EDT when UPS99 lands in Louisville.

The next flight from Incheon to Anchorage is in some 14 hours, so that's our next hope. I think that could put it here Friday, if things run smoothly(although this whole debacle is exactly how things do not run smoothly)

I still don't know what my 11:16 Incheon scan means and its pissing me off!!!

"Package shipped. Delivery being scheduled."

I can see how they might have missed a scan with how screwed up it supposedly was for UPS in china this week

Someone else already referenced this, but are we sure the UPS 99 Incheon ==> Anchorage and UPS 99 Anchorage ==> Louisville are the same plane? I have tried to do the math but with time zones and flight times I can't even figure out if it would be possible for the 99 to get back to Incheon from Louisville in time to depart again for Anchorage. Anyone able to figure that out?

UPS99 is route incheon -> Anchorage -> Lousiville. Different planes are used for each leg of the journey.
Its easier to see this if you look at passenger flights. Like you said it doesn't make sense that the same plane would go to incheon -> anchorage then lousiville then incheon

It does seem weird that they would name two different flights/routes the same name number though. There are plenty of other flights/routes from Anchorage to Louisville, but 99 is the only duplication. All others appear to have unique numbers. I think it is possible that there may be more than one plane they use for route 99 (INC->ANC->LoS) and one of those planes does make the complete route each day. So then the 99 that goes to Incheon does also go to Louisville. Then another plane does that route the next time. I don't know. Just an idea.

So am I the only person left in the 10/4-10 shipping date that is still processing?
Nope, me too!! :(

I received the matte black I ordered and I'm loving it but I'm still waiting for my jet black but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want that color now. Anyone ever returned a phone from IUP?
Was the Matte black or the Jet Black the IUP? And which one are you wanting to keep? I think in an absolute worst case scenario you could simply sell the Jet Black online on eBay or something like that. Since we're in the early scarcity stages, I'm sure demand is heavy for bidders.
