Same here. Hopefully its actually moving. We'll find out tomorrow i guess. Last time i set my alarm to preorder.

Right?! I felt silly for waking up at 2 am to just sit and refresh 3 devices till I could make an order that I could have made at 8 am. To be fair though, I've never had an issue getting a launch day phone. And who am I kidding, 2 years from now I'll be getting up at 2 am to order a phone haha

Well my friend, normally after it ships, it means you know you are receiving your phone, the wait and uncertainity you are living now is over and now we have a date where we can expect our phones.

Now, with all the BS UPS is doing, we are still on uncertainity, having no clue when we will actually get them
i understand and know ill be on the same boat as you once mine decides to ship... im actually thinking if I can get lucky to just pick one up locally but since blk is the popular color I might just have to settle for something different . :s

It does seem weird that they would name two different flights/routes the same name number though. There are plenty of other flights/routes from Anchorage to Louisville, but 99 is the only duplication. All others appear to have unique numbers. I think it is possible that there may be more than one plane they use for route 99 (INC->ANC->LoS) and one of those planes does make the complete route each day. So then the 99 that goes to Incheon does also go to Louisville. Then another plane does that route the next time. I don't know. Just an idea.
My assumption for the duplicate flight numbers is because anchorage is actually a layover. Just another idea.

Someone else already referenced this, but are we sure the UPS 99 Incheon ==> Anchorage and UPS 99 Anchorage ==> Louisville are the same plane? I have tried to do the math but with time zones and flight times I can't even figure out if it would be possible for the 99 to get back to Incheon from Louisville in time to depart again for Anchorage. Anyone able to figure that out?

Yes they are the same plane. Using Flightradar24.com both those flights have tail number N273UP.

Mine landed in Incheon at 8:01... just got off the phone with UPS... they said it was held up in customs in Korea and as soon as it clears it gets put on a plane to Alaska.

So. It is still in Korea until tomorrow morning?

Well guys and gals, UPS99 is officially enroute to KSDF.

Looks like its going to be even later arriving..... not until 3AM or so. Ugh. I have a bad feeling about this.
I saw that. :-(.

Why are these shipments having so much trouble going through customs? Seems like shipments from Apple shouldn't have issues with this.

Okay so i'm new here but believe me I have been following this forum religiously lol. I called UPS, and for those of us stuck in China with a 1:05 arrival scan, he said that the entire shipment was pulled aside and scanned for security reasons, and that it is currently awaiting a flight to Korea. He also informed me that realistically speaking, our estimated delivery dates will be Monday, Sept, 26th.

Yeah BS, they told me the same thing. No one at UPS knows what's actually going on. They have a script of answers and they pull from a hat. I've been told about the security check, that there are no exact dates for international shipments until they hit the US, the whole nine yards. They're clueless.

Yup I gave up hope on seeing it before Friday, it will most likely arrive on our estimated date, the 26th

At this point I don't believe the low level service reps have any clue what is going on. Lots of conflicting statements.

Hmm that sucks, but another guy had the 1:05 arrival scan but then also had scans in Alaska. No idea who to believe at this point. Guess we'll know in the morning.

Yeah I saw that too. I'm foolishly holding out hope that my phone has missed all of its scans and is on its way to Louisville lol.

This sucks for me because i'm a college student living hours away from home. Apple will only ship the phone to my billing address so I have to drive 4 hours just to pick up a freaking phone lol....and visit with my family I guess but whatever. So delaying the shipment to Monday actually delays me until the following Friday..

GUYS!!! I was just able to reserve the iPhone I wanted at the apple store but as I was checking to see what I needed to bring, the last requirement says that I need to bring my old iPhone purchased through the IUP. I never did UIP, this would be my first time. What do I do?
