You can put your order number in using the W55XXXXX, but drop the last two digits. But to be honest, I have never gotten mine to show up ... this go around or with the iPhone 6 Plus....and I'm also a registered UPS user...so it shows ANY packages I have coming my way.

But again...to answer your question. Yes put the entire order number in except for the last 2 digits.
So in your experience, the CC charge appears first (I signed up for IUP if that matters)? If so, what is the order after that? 1. CC charged 2. Order moves to PFS 3. Support profile change 4. Able to track in UPS?

I originally had a 10/4-10/10 ship date with my 9/9 confirmation, but cancelled that preorder to go in store. Ended up shooting myself in the foot there.

Sometimes you will see a shipping notification first then the charge depending on how fast your credit card updates and such.

I'm in the same boat as you. Canceled my original order and then reorder on 9/11 with a 10/5-10/11 date. Hopefully doesn't end up biting us too bad.

Yeah, I figure it's just a different batch/shipment of phones that we will get ours from. Probably something logistical like all of the 10/4-10 dates will be on one plane, and ours will leave the factory a few hours later. I'm not too concerned about it, but I'm still hopeful to have mine sometime before October.

I paid via paypal and got excited for a min as my "hold" turned into a "authorization" then I realized it is for the case :(
So apparently my case will be shipping soon.

Ordered ATT iphone plus 128gb Black (matt) via apple.com Sept. 9th (around 7:45 am CST). Status has not changed from "processing items". 04 Oct - 10 Oct. range. No CC action either.

Here I am. Rock me like a hurricane.

10/4-10/10, order completed 12 minutes after preorders began. Still "processing". Hoping the date gets pushed up.

the 10/4-10/10 buckets seems to have a wide range of time for ordering xx:10 thru + 24 hours later.

My guess is that those within the first hour of opening will see movement early next week and possible delivery by the end of next week. let's keep our fingers crossed.
 
I'm in the 10/4/16-10/10/16 bucket and got my confirmation at 12:08 AM PST.
 
This will have to hold me over for the next two weeks.... rose gold. But oh well. Bought a case

Stupid question: I know from another thread that sometimes even though Apple shows no movement you can track by reference on UPS. Either the phone number associated with your Apple account or your order number minus the last two numbers. Does anyone know if you only enter the numbers or do you also include the W at the beginning of the order number? Thanks for your assistance.

You must include the W. I tried my order number without the W and it ended up tracking some random package in another state that had been delivered months ago!

Me too, but only after I chatted online with Apple customer sales representative last Friday and she added expedited 2-3 Business Day shipping to my order (My original delivery dates were Oct. 4 - 10). I think it's probably meaningless though since all these orders will ship with expedited shipping anyway. Is that how you got those dates or did you always have those dates with standard shipping?
That's the exact same thing I did too. Originally I was the 4-10th but after changing shipping speed, the delivery was bumped up.

I agree with don't know if it actually made a difference for me or not but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try!

I think its funny, I decided to ask a Apple Rep via chat if this was a feature, and she said yes, but wont bump up the date significantly. I decided not to do it. I then thought about it, and tried to do it so went on chat again, and the person said they do not offer this service. I explained to the person that a previous rep said this was possible, but the guy said no. Kinda strange how some people are saying this is an option, and others are not.

I was told they couldn't expedite by an Apple rep also. So I'm just not sure anymore. Crazy things happening right now I guess.

What stage are you in? Did you get your phone? if so what was the time stamp and phone you ordered?

Their ship dates never moved. If they said different they are dead wrong. Cant ship what isn’t there.

well they can if they move you up in priority- several people reported this.
