Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

I tried to record my call with UPS but it came out blank for some reason... they transferred me to like 3 difrent people.. I told them I was looking at a weather map trying to figure out where the sever weather is... and I wanted to know why they had a difrent excuse every time I talked to them... I asked her if sunny weather generally delays packages... she just said that's the information they are getting...

She said my package is sitting on a plane to louisville and waiting to leave South Korea when the weather is good.

I just got off chat support with Apple - all she could really tell me is that the tracking updates they're getting from UPS are strange. Oh, and weather. I'm thinking the pilots forgot their sunglasses so they can't fly when it's nice out. They're waiting for a storm.

I almost wish my order was still in processing now.

More than anything, I hate getting excited for something and then plans changing at the last second.

When you tell me something, mean what you say. If you say it's going to be delivered on Friday then stick to god damn Friday!

Severe winds are possible reasons, who knows. We definitely are not air traffic controllers. I just wish I didn't have access to the information I see, it's too aggravating. Here's to hoping for tomorrow :/ Some squeaked through today it looks like, with the same 8:01 shipping details. We must have all been on same track but different planes.

If I am just now getting the update about severe weather delay today and I'm still in Korea, I do not see how they could still deliver by tomorrow. My Est. Delivery date has not changed from 9/23.

That's where I'm at - now I'm in this stupid IUP so even though my phone is now in stock at local stores, I can't pick it up because I'm all tied up in the dumb IUP. I should've just bought outright and cancelled this order. Super annoyed.

This @ the bolded. Since Apple listed my delivery date as tomorrow, I'm hoping, despite the severe weather conditions [insert major side eye here], that my Jet Black beauty shows up then.
 
So some 0801ers got a mechanical failure delay... I have a severe weather delay. Which one is it?! :confused:

Based on the spinning image Ive been looking at for a while now I'm guessing all the 801's that just got screwed are doing the same thing. Just poorly handled all around, baffled.

I'm down too. Im asking for COMP like someone 8 pages ago asked for.. Cause seriously, i never had an issue with fedex. Nor any iPhone pre-order event. I get things happen but, tell us the truth instead of flipping peoplee with weather delays/Mechanical b.s..

Yet that can't tell us why we didn't make the cut yesterday.. While some lucky folks did.

Weather delays can happen at other locations than the one holding the package or the one noting the weather delay. We're working to resolve this delay and we'll be updating the Delivery Date soon.

The only good thing to come out of this is that I have ammo to tear Apple a new one. Once that package is delayed, I'm going to go tear them up.
 
This is what UPS had to say:

Milton M.: I do not see any weather condition that is affecting this package right here but form what I know is that there is a severe weather in that area. Please give us time and keep on tracking this package.
 
This just proves that the Apple reps that were saying that everyone with tomorrow delivery dates have our phones in the US already. What a bunch of bullshtt this is. Can't believe even Apple is flat out lying to us.
