Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

Another "delayed due to weather" here (part of the 801 crew). We'll see what happens but at this point I'm just getting comfortable with assuming it will be next week. At least that way I'm slightly less likely to be let down. Lol

Rose Gold? I had one in hand on launch morning- and told them to sell it to someone else, I wanted to wait for my black-which should be here by Oct. 4-10 especially with all the mechanical and weather delays! #801crew

Accept there ISN'T a weather event. Unlike scanning packages / logistics errors etc. the weather isn't something they can just claim where every reporting service shows no issues. (see links in Pilot's post above)

Personally I am fine waiting, but I have to admit it's becoming more and more clear there is neither a mechanical issue or a weather event. There's likely a decision based on some logistics issue. Whether UPS dropped the ball for some reason or Apple made some change to consolidate orders .. that's where the truth is. IMO

Screw this. I feel like I could've spent my 1100+ elsewhere at this point. The one time I decide to give apple and the iphone a go....I only get to watch everyone around me with their new IP7.....while ,I....who ordered in the middle of the frigging night when preorder opened....have to wait while Apple and UPS **** their pants. Sorry....I'm just aggravated at this point....hard to hold back the frustration.

If it wasn't in shipping I'd have cancelled but it has been PFS since the weekend. Absurd.

Will do... what's funny is I'm on hold and the music is Tom Petty's "the waiting is the hardest part"... you can't make this stuff up!!

**UPDATE** the next song is Bob Marley's "everything's gonna be alright".. .again can't make this up.

They would never do this. As every phone on that shipment is already assigned, and the sim cards are all assigned. So meaning if someone else got the phone stuck for shipment opened it up, it would activate using your number. They can always take out the sim card but still. They wont divert stock for us. Plain and simple.

Opening a case lets Apple know you didn't get your item when they quoted you would get it. I'm guessing it allows you get more information on why you didn't get it and helps you get reimbursed for the issue

Mine is in Inchon. I'm sure there are people that are in the same group I'm in. When do you think I should expect delivery? It was originally supposed to get here today, but I'm thinking now, Monday? Also, does anyone know what exactly the mechanical failure is?

I sure wish it were possible to cancel this order and just go into an Apple Store and get a regular 7 instead of the plus I ordered and am waiting on. Closest store to me has plenty of 7's in stock. But nope, I just HAD to do the iPhone upgrade program on this phone. What a sham this all is turning out to be.

If anyone is actually able to cancel their order because it's stuck in Korea please report back here. Hell, maybe I'll check out a Samsung phone (/puke).

Nothing to really reimburse tho? Honestly never had this happen so wondering what he heck Apple will do for us! How do we open a claim?

Depends on your status. If it's PFS you CAN cancel. I've done it. If it's shipped, you cannot.
