They would never do this. As every phone on that shipment is already assigned, and the sim cards are all assigned. So meaning if someone else got the phone stuck for shipment opened it up, it would activate using your number. They can always take out the sim card but still. They wont divert stock for us. Plain and simple.I believe they have inventory in the US that could potentially be diverted to cover delays. Otherwise how do Apple stores have stock of the exact items we are delayed on? No one knows but I wouldn't be surprised if we got our phones tomorrow, saturday, or even monday. I have my pre-signed delivery paper taped outside my door, about to go laminate that ish to ensure "servere weather" doesn't destroy it.

Opening a case lets Apple know you didn't get your item when they quoted you would get it. I'm guessing it allows you get more information on why you didn't get it and helps you get reimbursed for the issueWhat does opening a case do?? Will it help us in any way?

PFS means nothing. I had mine cancelled. It's been PFS since Saturday. I found a 128GB Matte Black in store and bought it.If it wasn't in shipping I'd have cancelled but it has been PFS since the weekend. Absurd.

Depends on your status. If it's PFS you CAN cancel. I've done it. If it's shipped, you cannot.I sure wish it were possible to cancel this order and just go into an Apple Store and get a regular 7 instead of the plus I ordered and am waiting on. Closest store to me has plenty of 7's in stock. But nope, I just HAD to do the iPhone upgrade program on this phone. What a sham this all is turning out to be.
If anyone is actually able to cancel their order because it's stuck in Korea please report back here. Hell, maybe I'll check out a Samsung phone (/puke).
