I am a pilot and it's a complete crock of sh*t.

There are no SIGMETs anywhere that I can find between Inchon and Alaska. There's some convective stuff in the lower 48 but easily avoidable.

I'm on hold right now with Apple. I just want to cancel the order completely. I was on the fence about the upgrade and this made the decision for me. I can't reward a company with my $$$ when they don't deliver. So I vote with my feet.

Sad to watch a Company that was once the definition of innovation and customer experience come apart like this.

Just saw this in the JB thread:

Per Reddit: packages in Korea are being upgraded to next day delivery.

"Just spoke to a UPS shipping logistics supervisor who explained to me that all iPhone packages (with a Korean arrival date of 9/20 or 9/21) currently held up in Korea will be out of Korea tonight and in the US by tomorrow morning.

I then spoke to a management rep at the Apple Online Store who stated that all packages currently in Asia have been upgraded to next-day delivery. He assured me that I would have my phone either tomorrow or Saturday at the latest."

This just proves that the Apple reps that were saying that everyone with tomorrow delivery dates have our phones in the US already. What a bunch of bullshtt this is. Can't believe even Apple is flat out lying to us.
I believe they have inventory in the US that could potentially be diverted to cover delays. Otherwise how do Apple stores have stock of the exact items we are delayed on? No one knows but I wouldn't be surprised if we got our phones tomorrow, saturday, or even monday. I have my pre-signed delivery paper taped outside my door, about to go laminate that ish to ensure "servere weather" doesn't destroy it.

This is what @UPSHelp just told me on twitter

#801crew

From @UPSHelp
Weather delays can happen at other locations than the one holding the package or the one noting the weather delay. We're working to resolve this delay and we'll be updating the Delivery Date soon.
Sounds like more BS to me. They've been working on "updating the delivery date soon" for literally over 48 hours.

Why are you blaming Apple for this? UPS has the packages ... Apple shipped them before they promised... THIS is a UPS issue.

The one I just spoke to felt very confident I would have my phone "shortly". I guess everyone can have a different definition for this, kind of like a couple of minutes. Could be 5, 10, 40 who knows. Based on the wait time they are all getting beat up right now. I am just baffled that a billion dollar company who pays millions of dollars to have inventory moved across the world on a daily basis knows nothing like they say. Guess we wait and see.

According to ATT pre-order thread. They are being delivered by fedex... too bad they didn't volunteer to do overseas

Honestly, i doubt any of us will be upgraded to overnight shipping. If i wake up without an update, I'll just assume it didn't happen.

Here's my biggest b$tch, they launch these phones every year and know that they are going to have millions and millions preordered. Say they sold 7 million iPhones last year in the first week, why don't they have 10 million iPhones sitting in the US ready to ship so people can have them the day they are released.

Who the f*** knows! Seems like it would be better for us at least.

Read the prior posts before you make an idiotic comment.... just sayin'

wait.... do you work for Apple? You sound like them.

Next year I'm requesting iPhone launch day off and just gonna wait on a line. This is my first year preordering online every other iPhone I just got to the store 2-3 early and always got the phone I wanted
Last time I waited in line they sold out of the space grey iPhone 6+ and nobody got theirs waiting overnight. Besides 20 people. So good luck with that

Here's the issue with all this stuff that Apple and UPS have been saying for the last 4 days. Attached are two screen shots of my two phones. Notice that everything is the same in China and Incheon. One leaves Incheon and one doesn't. I have a real issue with the security screening and all the other delay reasons we have been given when they have sat in China and Incheon for 48 hours in both locations. Now weather you can't control but I digress.

Let us know if you're even able to cancel. I only have a rose gold. It's not even popular enough that I should have to wait this long lol.
