Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

I was thinking about not having jet black in stores for display. Some Apple stores don't even display them. I'm wondering if it's two fold. Don't display it because they don't have it in stock (people see it, they'll want it, get even more disappointed they don't have it for sale, writes blog.). Honestly the way I feel now,if they had a display I'd cut cord n run with it,I feel that I'm entitled to the first one I see ,it's mine,so if you gots yours already ,stay clear from me;)

San Francisco to Incheon is a 13-15 hour flight depending on direction. I don't see these getting to Kentucky and then sorted and back out to local hubs for sort and then delivery by Monday. Not that I wouldn't prefer it of course, but I'll put my bet for actual delivery on Tuesday. Do the hubs sort packages on Sunday ? (doubt it)

Hmm...It feels like to me if it's in Louisville in the next 24 hours it should realistically be delivered on Monday.
 
I just spoke with UPS and asked my question to them. They said that if the package comes in late tonight it will take the whole of Saturday to sort the individual packages and get them to their destinations. Of course I was told again that the shipper (Apple) did not pay for Sat delivery. That means that even if it gets here late tonight (Early Sat) they won't get to their destinations (home or CCs) until late Sat and therefore not available until Monday. She also said that the package needs to be at the local center by 10am for delivery the same day.

Not what I wanted to hear - but really makes the most sense. :(

For all of the posters that were never in the 10/4-10/10 order window, thinks for ruining the usefulness of this thread for those of us that were trying to status our orders to see where in the que our orders reside.

Exactly. I see dummy's in here who have earlier dates like why are you even posting in here lol
 
I have 6 Apple stores within 2hrs drive (phx area)and I'm sitting here acting pyscho waiting on a f$ckin ghost plane,the matrix broke ,that's the only explanation for this f$ckery

I think you need to chill out. A LOT of the people on this chat actually have the 10/4-10/10 ship dates, but got bumped up. Not sure where the anger is coming from. I haven't moved chat rooms because i am in the ship date location.
 
Latest update from the 2:25 departure,now I have an arrival scan in Xanadu?really,this has got to be the mushrooms playing tricks on me,anyone else have that arrival scan today?

Yo, WTF? Why do I have two departure scans now? I suppose my iPhone is now on board for another flight, does anyone know which one it would be on? Does anyone know where it will go? My scan departed at 2:25 AM.

I take it that my iPhone isn't on UPS 99 then? Jesus, UPS. WTF is wrong with you?

This is strange. I still only have 1 departure scan at 9:30pm... And still not arrival scan anywhere yet. Is UPS99 supposed to have landed yet?

The frustrating part is how do we plan our schedule around being home to sign for it when we don't even have a clue as to when it will be here,that being the case ,this tracking has become a joke unfortunately ,I had to joke with u though ,hopefully we'll all be happy with our new phones soon

On with Apple online sales right now, he confirmed that all deliveries are automatically "upgraded" to Saturday delivery if the updated date falls on a Saturday, if your local UPS offers Saturday delivery! If your hub does not offer Saturday delivery, you will have to wait until Monday to receive it.
