I'm in the 8:01 group with a Jet Black 7+ and the UPS customer service agent I just spoke to said that Apple has a special agreement with them and they ARE having Saturday deliveries

On with Apple online sales right now, he confirmed that all deliveries are automatically "upgraded" to Saturday delivery if the updated date falls on a Saturday, if your local UPS offers Saturday delivery! If your hub does not offer Saturday delivery, you will have to wait until Monday to receive it.

SHOOT!!! Should I call and!!!! Have them deliver it? They've done delivery before Saturday's...


My hub is open till 12pm Saturday!

Yo, WTF? Why do I have two departure scans now? I suppose my iPhone is now on board for another flight, does anyone know which one it would be on? Does anyone know where it will go? My scan departed at 2:25 AM.

Judging how my shipment went, i wouldn't be surprised to see your phone end back up in China, then ship from there to the states.

I ordered mine at 3:18 on 9/9. Finally got shipped 9/22 but it is coming from Ontario, CA. I'm just wondering why the weight is 9.7lbs

In case you haven't seen this on the front page yet:in the article it said once it hits us the expected delivery will update. Mine is in Alaska still says information unknown on expected delivery.

Lucky! If they do Sat. deliveries then I would imagine you can assume you'll get your phone tomorrow. If you're having them hold it, you should be able to go in to the hub in the morning and pick it up. I would call your local hub to verify though!

So I looked and my local OKC CC center is open tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. only. Found their phone number (not easy to find) on Foursquare and Superpages. I called, but no one answered. So I have a a few questions for you kind people:

• If my 7+ arrives in OKC by tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m., would I be able to pick it up tomorrow?
• Can I wait until tomorrow morning to schedule pick up at the CC once I know if it's there?

The reason I ask if I totally spaced on my haircut appointment last Saturday and it's rescheduled for tomorrow. I don't want to piss off my stylist by missing another appointment, but if in fact deliveries are made tomorrow I don't want to miss the UPS delivery if he comes. Of course, if delivery is pushed to Monday then my questions are moot as I'll just stay home and let them deliver to me.

I was one of those and I'm in same boat. It made no difference.

I was thinking about not having jet black in stores for display. Some Apple stores don't even display them. I'm wondering if it's two fold. Don't display it because they don't have it in stock (people see it, they'll want it, get even more disappointed they don't have it for sale, writes blog.). The other is to prevent theft because you KNOW some taint-stain is going to cut a cord and run.

Here's a 3rd reason: The jet black phone scratches so easily they don't want people to see how scratched up the display phones get.

The irony about hubs doing saturday deliveries..... if the package is PAID for Saturday deliveries, UPS is going to be there. My hub is closed, but I HAVE had Saturday deliveries despite that. So - figure that out.
