Is everyone on here AT&T? I had a few problems with the AT&T Eligibility checker during the order, even though I am pay in full it first would not let me use my number because it is on an AT&T Business account and they make you go through business orders, so I ended up having to use my wife's number for it to clear eligibility so those few minutes cost me the week + on the ship. I am wondering if the AT&T people got screwed royally especially on the JB 128GB + being the most in demand?

yeah I stayed on Next. I had planned to try the IUP but decided at last minute to just continue on Next as I didn't want to show up in the store to pick up my phone only to be declared ineligible for the program. I went with the devil I know versus the devil I don't.

It looks like a mixed bag of "I wish I had ordered [different color]", lost deliveries and activation woes. That is fair. I like the idea of paying simple payments each month and upgrading every year. It seems new IUP enrollees got lucky this time around, but I'm worried about next year, as you said. The closest Apple Store to me is like 2 hours away
Same here. Then you have the ones complaining that their delivery was delayed until tomorrow. Meanwhile, here we are with our Oct dates with nothing!
My roommate's parents just showed up and they got her the iPhone 7 and she barely cares and I'm sitting here with the 10/4-10 ship date trying not to lose my mind with my touch diseased phone
Just watched the video. If I understand what was said correctly, you have to activate the phone with the sim it comes with, but after that you can change the sim out?
RIGHT! Tomorrow delivery sounds SO MUCH BETTER than October lol. Heard a story today where someone broke their 7 getting it out of the box smh. I have to wait 2-3 weeks (possibly) for my 7 and you have it in your hands and break it?! Just disrespectful lol
Ok. I still have a tiny glimmer of hope. Just looked back through my emails and when I ore ordered the 6 +, I had the same 2-3 week shipping window. My phone was shipped the day after launch and I got the email at 11:17am. If I don't get an email tomorrow by that time, I'm jumping off the highest building I can find....
Yes correct, but for activation it seems like billing zip and last 4 of SSN of account holder are needed.
I wonder if that's for all carriers. I needed the same information just to place my order on IUP, so people should have it readily available still.

Newbie here too. I'm on the west coast. Woke up at 11:58 to make sure I got what I wanted just like the last few years. Apple site told me that I wasn't eligible for an upgrade and unneeded to pay full price(even though I am on the Att next 12 program). So I went to the att site and waited for what seemed like forever so I could pay my last remaining installment. After refreshing over and over and over. Using my Mac, iPad and iPhone the site all of a sudden closed for daily matinence from 12-1. Baffled... Finally at 1:00 the site came back up and I payed the last installment. I then proceeded to go back to the apple site and order my IPhone 7+ 128gb black. As I was waiting for the att site to finish. All I could see was the dates slipping further and further away from launch day.
Thanks for keeping me company for the however long it takes for our phones to come in!!

A lot of people from this thread are getting their CC's charged, even as we speak. Although their delivery dates are nearer the end of September, and everyone seems to be Verizon customers... Still a glimmer of hope!

Last year I ordered a 6s Plus 128gb SG on 9/15 (a few days after pre-order) and had a delivery date of 10/13-10/20. It did not budge for the next 10 days so I got lucky and went with a 64Gb from an Apple Store on 9/26. I'll never know if it would have shipped earlier but it sure didn't move that first 10 days.
