uh no- if you got your order in the first 20 minutes on a pre-order you were generally getting it on launch day.
this thing- they have too many gold models and not enough black of any kind. and they way way underesimtated the % of orders for 7+. usually it's about 40% of models and it's jumped up to 55% which they didn't expect.
generally this feels like about the same volume - maybe even slightly less than last year- just way less supply especially of the + model
also in the past if you ordered from Apple that was generally the best- this time - the app didn't even open to let you in at midnight. people that got in were pure lucky or just force closed the app a lot or used multiple devices.

I would have as I had a feeling blacks would sell out fast. But I dislike the white front. And that ironically only comes with the black backs.
I have a 6 right now and it's gold. Only reason I got it was because at the time it was a color I hadn't had before lol I was hoping for black with this release so I could go back to that and that seems to have been my demise this go round lmao

I have always had only the black iphones. I also dislike the white fronts which leaves me only with the black options.

King of Prussia, PA. 7+ 128 matte black. We always think we are smart and deserve a phone on launch day, of course that's what I had hoped. AT+T always seems to screw me one way or another, the first order failed and I had to retry again. Multiple countries ordering at pre order time, yeah good luck. We should see movement in the next few days I have to believe.
Hence why I went black. Only one with black front. Otherwise I may have taken the silver.
I may have written that a little fast
I was going to buy a silver before the new colors came out. I've had gold the last 2 years and I'm tired of it. Also didn't like the space grey when it was an option.
off topic: anyone know when the apple battery cases are going to come out for the 7+? I wanna get one this time.
