Still waiting for UPS could have walked to the cc and back home since it's been on the truck! I need to go buy a case and have them credit the purchase to my business account.
 
I'm so glad this thread was made. Thank you everyone for all the supportive and helpful comments over the last two weeks. I'm glad we all have a special place to come and fangirl together. And to those of you who haven't yet received their phones, it's coming!!! I hope to see you guys and gals all next year! :D

The Apple Online Store Manager I was working with knew I was really pissed and said why don't you look at the Apple leather cases online and find one you like. I said I don't use cases on my phones and left it at that. Then once I got my phone delivered she called me and I said yesterday you offered to compensate me with a free case. I don't need one so can I get the lightning dock in black instead. She said no at 1st but after me telling her that I thought Apple was being inflexible only offering what they want to give, she finally said ok. It's already on my order page but is 2-3 weeks away. Don't really care. It's not a phone. Lol
 
I have been a silent observer of this forum, being a part
of #801ers, roaming around hong kong, tracking flights which was so conveniently posted by helpful fellows here.
I am super psyched about any new tech i anticipate and was thrilled to find like minded folks hanging out together and helping me keep my mind off anticipation.
I got no mail, no notification, no departure from final hub, I requested for a pickup from a local UPS store, and started chatting with the apple customer care online explaining them that i was to get the phone on 23rd, she was midway between changing my destination to my house when the doorbell rings and I have my laptop in one hand and the new Phone in the other. I explained the turn of events and we both had a laugh about how i was almost going to rant for a while and now its like a pacifier is rammed into my mouth.

Kudos to all who got it today, The phone looks fantastic! MB 128 is awesome!
For others, a watched pot never boils, but weekends fly real quick!! so hang on tight! something great is about to come your way!!

I'm in NY but I got a similar notice and still got mine at 10:30am est. Just means they might be later than whatever time Apple contracted for. I'm sure you wouldn't be upset if you got it at 5pm.

What I usually do when I get someone who is telling me something I know to be untrue. Hang up and call back. Worst case is they say no again. Then email tcook@apple.com and someone from Apple corporate will call you can get you that case. Don't give up. Apple should take care of you if they did others like me.

Good idea. Got too much to catch up on today after waiting at home till 3pm hoping somehow it would show up anyway. I still have my email from apple around midnight saying Saturday delivery. Might need to attach that to my email to Tim Cook.

Hey at least I know my phone is here and I'll have it Monday.
 
Anyone in Northern California with Oakland / Departure Scan as the latest update? This was at 8:56am so I'm having a hard time believing it's not in Menlo Park by now.
