I've always been very good at getting my point across and making companies that mess up compensate me in some way. Maybe you just got to a manager that was instructed to not give anyone cases if they got their Saturday delivery. Maybe Apple decided that if they are paying extra for Saturday deliveries, they also don't want to give what could be hundreds of thousands of cases if not more. It also didn't help that this manager thought I should get it on the 23rd. She said I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. I would have brought that up if it didn't go my way. I started working with her on her on the 22nd.
I brought up everything. my initial ship date on the 19th and the wed delivery. Then thursday then friday then saturday. Brought up all the emails i got from apple. Told her how ups didn't update that it was even at the ups office just sitting there and never checked it.
I called ups earlier today and the lady i talked to said it was on a truck and it shows it showed up in phoenix at 6am. Didn't have any other info i called at 12pm and she said its still on the truck and ill get it monday. I ended up driving to the store and it was sitting in the back never scanned in so I'm a little mad at all of this. I basically had to track down my package apple told me i would get monday but would of never of actually gotten it if i didn't show up at the ups office.
I explained this all to her and that I've had numerous hour long conversations to apple earlier in the week. Missing time from work and or being home expecting updates.
She was just very one way and didn't budge with any of it. Said i was expected an oct delivery date and they delivered early....
So its very very dependent on who you talk to which i explained to her also. Said i could call back and talk to a different manager and they could approve it and she kept telling me that wouldn't happen. So they just hate me i guess. Should of waited till monday to maybe had it delivered

Well, I guess UPS decided to only scan in some of the phones they received. No activity since 9am from Oakland. 1.2 hrs on hold with UPS, too.
The best part was them saying I could've tried to pick it up at the facility but the time they picked up, they had been closed for an hour.
My ups store did the same thing. My phone was sitting in the office since 6-7am and never updated past arrival scan in my city.
Its probably sitting there because its saturday. They'll take their time and scan it on monday...

Interesting. You for sure deserve compensation. Mine was at 12:26 due to multiple failures to verify my account with AT&T.
yea I'm pushing it now I'm asking for a higher level to email me and talked to chat again they are useless. Waste of my time honestly. Im doing the job for ups by finding my own package. Not necessarily apples fault but they should stand by the service they use.
