Delivery complete...
There's two more weeks and then the outliers of the Oct 4 - 10 group. We were a lucky batch, probably the first half hour of orders, to make the July 22 - 26 delivery window.
Others, who are still waiting. I am so sorry you had to witness this. We came here because we wanted our own group away from the launch crew. I know how hard it is to see people further up the line. This is my second year of missing the launch date. However people make it a bigger deal than what it was, for me, all in fun. Tracking a single package from "inception" to delivery, and sharing that experience, frankly does not happen elsewhere. It's like a bunch of seagulls.
I buy from Amazon, and other places, and I can pretty much care the least. However with the annual or in some buyer's experience, biennial experience, this is a blast for one or two weeks and we move on with our lives. Like kids at Christmas. There's not a lot we get that giddy feeling about, as we get older, so any thing that brings back that feeling is a good thing.
If you wish to continue on for another month, other threads are forming - the complainers - who find something to pick at, and possibly return their phone or get an exchange. This can be almost as much fun.
I am not posting any delivery details or photos, because, pick any post and I am right there with them, from September 19th, the 11:01 group, the 801crew, etc.
Happy Phone unwrapping... oooooooh ahhhhhhh...

Anyone in Northern California with Oakland / Departure Scan as the latest update? This was at 8:56am so I'm having a hard time believing it's not in Menlo Park by now.
