Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

I've pre-ordered quite a few times (both from AT&T and Apple) and never had such bad delivery dates :(

I'd love to camp out and see if I can get the phone on launch but I'll be flying to CA that day. AND I put my phone on the IUP so not sure how that would work....cancelling the order and getting a new one?!

I pre-ordered a 7+ 128GB Black at 5AM EST and got October 4th-10th. Last year I saw the next morning they were still shipping at the same time, so I figured this year I would sleep in a bit. Wish I didn't now.
 
Are you guys going to be patient and tough it out or go hunting? Cause if I find a black 128gb or 256gb I'll be okay. But what are the odds...? :/

I know it's just a phone however, out of all the iPhones I pre-ordered this one was a sure mess 0.o

I was thinking about going out on Friday morning but I work, I might try to see if I can come in a little later so I can see what my local art store has in stock :))

I'm not too worried though!

I'd like to try looking in stores but now that I'm living in Chicago I feel like it's going to be impossible to battle it out because there's just so many people :/

I live in one of the largest metropolitan areas... I was going to hunt but it's going to be checking the inventory each hour of every Apple store from the internet since every store will be PACKED.
 
I'm in Tulsa Oklahoma 2nd largest city. I've had luck at a att corp store 6 mins away but.. I don't know if it's worth the risk to miss work line up and then... -_- not have black in the config I want

I ordered JB but I doubt it'll be avail
 
Overslept and ordered 7+ 128 GB through apple.com at about 3:45 EST. Got confirmation email at 3:57. No movement at all, still says Oct. 4-10
 
I was on vacation and didn't order till 7am PST. What's funny to me is that you can go and order right now and still get the same dates. 7 + 128gb AT&T
 
Close - Oct 5th - 11th 7+ 128GB Matte black. No movement.

Hoping like others said that Apple will move up ship dates once the release day people get theirs and/or people cancel their online orders once they pickup one in store.

Edit: Oh, also didn't order until about 7am EST as I was still undecided on size, so not too bad considering.
 
Due to the increased time necessary to enroll in the Apple Upgrade Program, my time stamp was 3:14AM. I ordered the elusive (non-existent?) 128GB Jet Black.

My local Apple Store opens at 8AM and the mall it's in is allowing line ups at 5AM. I am hoping for either a 128GB or 256GB Matte Black.

If I were to find a Jet Black, after purchasing, I would immediately head out to buy a lottery ticket.

I already have Space Gray, so I see no point in upgrading if I can't find a different color as I prefer the black bezel.
 
How do you find your order time?

Matte Black 7+ 128gb thru Apple Store app w/ AT&T. 2-3 weeks, 10/4-10/10.

Got in Store at 3:08am, out in 5 minutes, confirmation email at 3:15edt.

My ETA switched from 9/16 to 10/4-10/10 as soon as the email came in.

Yesterday morning I updated my "billing email" to a more current one, and when I saved it, both my Orders page on Apple.com and the email notification showed a bumped ETA of 9/30-10/6. I checked later on in the afternoon and it slipped back to 10/4-10/10.

Talk about blue balls.

Same thing for me. Woke up a little bit later, got the order at 03:34 EST, Oct 04-10th and no movement at all.

A question, i see that some ppl already got a holding or any charge in the bank account, i got nothing, should i be worried? :)

I DIDN'T oversleep. Being on the east coast, the Apple Store app wouldn't load for me until at least 8-9 minutes after opening. I tried MacBook, iPhone, and iPad. Enrolling in the Apple Upgrade Program also took a few minutes. Email time stamp? 3:14AM. So much for getting up at 3AM... :(

Nope. They send you an email to tell you they had a problem with your card. As long as you respond to that email quickly (within 24 hours?), you're all good.
 
When the 6 came out, I saw plenty of people who ordered hours after midnight and got their phones on launch day. In fact, I got into the website 8 minutes early, had my orders done and email confirmations before midnight, and I didn't even get mine launch day!!!!

128GB 7+ Matte Black. 2:26 am CDT. No movement. I find it ridiculous with as much experience as they have that people who ordered in the first 30 minutes aren't getting it on launch day. They should know the patterns by now. And the technical glitches are maddening. I spent the first 12 minutes trying to get the apple store app to load, two minutes placing my order, then another 12 minutes waiting for the AT&T verification before finally getting the order through. What a joke.

iPhone 7 +, 128 GB, Black, AT&T

I got on the Apple Store app at 1:55 AM CST, and could not load the store page until 2:10 AM CST. My order took 2 minutes to process and I received my confirmation email at 2:16 AM CST.

10/4 - 10/10 delivery

No movement

:(

When I started the process I saw September 16th dates and then they slipped to the 23rd or 26th, and then when I got the confirmation... 10/4 - 10/10.
