Oct 4th - 10th shipping date here
7+ Matte Black 128GB Sprint (via Apple 3:31am EST)

This is the same thing that happened with the 6/6+. We all got shipping dates that moved up sooner...about a week or less after the release date. All of our phones were originally supposed to ship 2 weeks after the release date. Don't stress guys we should all see updates soon. *fingers crossed*
I'm with you! *fingers crossed too* lol

Yup, exactly! I had the same 2-3 weeks for the 6 and then it shipped the day after launch and I got it the following Tuesday.

I ordered my 7+ black 128gb ATT with IUP just after midnight and got my confirmation at 12:18. Still no movement.

I got my silicone case today though so I guess I have that. I just want my phone!!! I've preordered every time I've gotten a new phone and have never gotten such a late delivery date. I have always gotten launch day delivery and it's killing me.

Apple had me locked out (tried on both laptop and my iPhone Apple app) at 12:01 PST. Finally got in (I think it was on my Apple app on my iPhone, but, honestly, I was so sleepy I honestly am not sure) and received confirmation email that I had purchased the iPhone Seven Plus Jet Black 128 GB (AT&T) via the IUP at 12:13 PST. At beginning of order process I was given Sept. delivery dates, but when I finished I was given Oct. 4 - 10. I did chat on-line with Apple rep later that day. She added expedited 2-3 day shipping, which moved my delivery dates to Sept. 30 - Oct. 6. My understanding though is that this might not mean much as iPhones typically ship with priority shipping anyway. I am also traveling out of state starting Oct. 3. I know my phone will probably deliver earlier than estimated, but am nervous. I have never pre-ordered before. I currently have a iPhone 6 which I got a week or two after launch two years ago by walking into Best Buy after work (after pestering local Apple Store, Best Buy and AT&T stores daily ever since the launch date). I'm semi-retired and this month have the luxury of having nothing I need to do on Friday. I'm 90% sure I'm going to camp out to see if I can get a phone at the AT&T store Friday morning here in Oklahoma. The store opens at 8:00 a.m. It's located at the mall. I already found out which entrance to wait at and that they'll open those doors to the mall at 7:30 a.m. I am seriously considering getting there at 2:00 a.m. to secure my place in line. Does that seem early enough? Never done this before for iPhone although I did stand in line in November once for 6 hours in 40 degree weather in NYC for a SRO ticket to Book of Mormon. I was first in line and I got my ticket. Lol. Sorry for the life story. I think if I do camp out it will be a great story. Apparently according to customer service at the mall, security is fine with us camping out overnight. My understanding is that as long as my iPhone is still in Processing (which is almost for sure), I can cancel in store and then sign up for IUP with whatever phone I chose given what's available. I honestly don't care that much which color I get now as long as it's a 7 Plus with either 128 GB or 256 GB. The Jet Black looks cool, but it's gonna be a scratch magnet. Besides, I'll have it in a case (a battery case as soon as Apple or Mophie make on).

Go for it!!

Do you think 2:00 a.m. is too early or late to start camping out? I have no experience with this. I'm going to verify again tomorrow, this time with mall security that they won't have a problem with it.
I have camped out before for the original iphone and the iphone 4. For the original i camped out of an ATT store at 6Am launch Day. I was 10th in line. For the iphone 4 I got in line at 6PM the day before launch, I was like the 100th customer, or something like that.
I would go out Thursday night and drive around to see what the lines look like. If they start getting long, then you should probably jump in line. Call some friends to keep you company and bring you some chairs, food, etc..

If the mall is open, then you'll probably be first in line. Also, you'll be pretty safe inside a mall if others haven't turned up that early.
It's an adventure. You're probably going to get the new iPhone plus meet some new people and have some fun/chats/bonding.
It's all good.

The mall doors don't open until 7:30 a.m. So I'll be outside the doors until then.

Got up, couldn't get onto the reservation page until 8:11am (UK), got my matt Black 7+ 128gb confirmation at 8:14am. My basket during the ordering process was showing at 27th Sept delivery date, which slipped to 4 - 10th Oct as I placed the order.

No movement since. :(

I hope we start seeing changes in our orders after 16/09 people get their phones. Shame no pluses will be available at stores for a while, so plan B to cancel order and get one in a store is a no-no :(

Has anyone else noticed that almost everyone in this specific thread ordered the exact same phone......
Which most likely means that...should I even say it?

Nvm...looks like a couple already figured it out.

The no plus in stores announcement is hilarious. When the 6 came out, Apple said they didn't anticipate the demand for the plus model. Guess they didn't learn from that experience, or they just don't care cause they know we are a bunch of nuts and will obsess in forums like this till that phone is in our hands....

Apple 7+ threads need there own thread.....merging the 7s in here is horrible moderation.

Well, the fact that all 7+'s are sold out in stores is absolutely relevant to this thread. The entire idea that we all might have to wait until October to have our orders delivered is enough for some of us to consider taking a chance at a store. I agree that we do not have to go into discussion about it, but it was worth at least mentioning to save time, energy, and emotional devastation for those in consideration.

Thanks!

According to my Apple Store's manager, they open at 8AM and the mall will allow line ups at 5AM. Based on previous year's experience, mall security does NOT allow any camping out.

I'm still going to give the big box stores a ring at 9 am tomorrow just to double check that they really won't have ANY 7 pluses. My Air Base is right down the road from two Wal-Marts, a Target, and a Best Buy. Better believe I'm taking an early lunch if they even have 1 available!

so crazy, that they won't have any jet black 7's. Guess my idea of going to the store instead of waiting is no more.
