The plastic on the RIGHT hand side is not creaky. Why should the plastic on the left hand side?
It's not supposed to be touched. The area is made of thin plastic so wifi and bluetooth signals can travel easier.

I ran my finger along the back and it gave me sexual shivers of electronic joy. Will definitely do it again.
Okay, that's it.
Know the big "too picky" thread? Yeah, well, it's perfectly fine for someone to return a product for a scratch that they didn't do and all that, but when you ACTIVELY GO LOOKING for problems, then it gets to be a little bit on the jerky side.
You think THAT'S fun, you oughta try using it with your-OH CRAP, HERE COMES THE WIFE!!!
Its not a problem OP.
I have a toshiba satellite that creaks a little when I press on its hinge on the back. Its just the way these are. Its not going to fall off, explode, etc etc.
I've had problems with the back hinge, when my Macbook is closed. I'm planning on taking it in and trying to exchange it for the 2.4 GHz macbook and pay the difference. You can all hate, but I paid $1300 for this comp and I deserve to not have problems with it. I'm a shareholder too, so don't tell me about how Apple's gonna lose money from this.
